"Every now and then you come across a place that is so amazing that you actually consider NOT recommending it to others just so you can keep it to yourself.This place is a slice of heaven. Comforable, cozy, clean with a full kitchen. Next to Portobello beach, which was perfect for morning strolls with Lorne rolls and a coffee in hand. Close enough to Edinburgh to do all the touristy stuff but far enough away to avoid the crowds. "

"We loved the house. Plenty of room inside for 10 of us and a wonderful play space on the grounds for little kids. Also, there is a wonderful public playground 5-10 minutes by foot from the house. It’s an easy walk to local shopping and the town center in Musselburgh. By car, we were 25 minutes from Edinburgh city center and the Royal Mile. Two buses that are a 5-10 walk from the house take 20 minutes to get to Edinburgh city center."

"The ladies were fantastic hosts and so sweet, nothing was too much. They had provided fresh milk and flowers on arrival which was a lovely gesture!The tea and coffee containers were stocked for a much needed cuppa on arrival. Not all airbnbs provide this and it was greatly appreciated. The coffee was enjoyed on the 1st floor private balcony of the property while watching the sunrise over the Cromwell harbour. "We had a wonderful stay here. The cottage is well equipped, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The view from the windows are stunning, my attached photo doesn’t do it justice at all. Our host, Richard, was helpful and friendly, sending all the information we needed in good time, and checking everything went well with arrival, our stay, and departure. We fell in love with the area, and are very much looking forward to returning very soon. "

"There were two couples in our late 60’s early 70’s. This lovely clean and superbly equipped cottage was brilliant for us.We had a very slight problem logging onto the WiFi because the details given to us were completely wrong. Used the details on the Router and we were sorted.Really lovely week cannot recommend the cottage enough."
