"My cousin and I stayed at Malaina’s Homewood home in Sept 2024. Even after four days in the home, we could not get over the spectacular view of the lake from the downstairs living areas, the upstairs bedrooms and of course the large deck. The kitchen was nicely updated and no well equipped with dishes and appliances. Note: Fridge is cleared out so guests do need to bring in spices, condiments, etc. Beds and bedding were nice and comfortable. Master bath is updated and lovely. The other two...

"We absolutely loved the house - beautiful and new in every way! The location was perfect for walking to the beach and town. We've been renting different houses at Kings Beach for decades and this is our new favorite. We definitely hope to come back again, so we only have a couple small suggestions. "Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sunset Chalet. The over the top characteristic was the stunning views of Lake Tahoe from our deck. Chalet was exceptionally clean and well stocked with thoughtful amenities. Host was immediately available to resolve an issue when the area power was shut down and we called her cell phone. If you 100% need Wi-Fi, so not stay here. Communication was terrible. On the surface it seems great, but they obviously use chat bots and talking to real person and someone local happens out of sheer luck. Coffee supplies would be nice for arrival. "Was pretty clean and cozy. There were some cobwebs and lots of dust we could see on the ceiling beams and on some of the furniture like the side of bed tables. WiFi was fine on our phones. Tv worked way better when we hotspotted to a phone. Otherwise it was great "

"Stayed here for a group ski trip. We had 9 adults, and there were plenty of beds & space for everyone. Excellent location, the Northstar shuttle made it really easy to get to the mountain and back. You can call it from an app in the morning, and then just hop on and give your destination in the afternoon. Private hot tub was a great amenity in the backyard.
