"Property was as described and clean. We only stayed one night and only made it in around 9pm and left at 8am. Beds were comfortable, and neighborhood seemed quiet. Almost at the end of a dead end street, so no traffic. Close to many food places and not far from the interstate. Would stay again."

"The place was just as described, in a quiet neighborhood right off of the main street. It was really close to everything.We walked into the place smelling of fresh Pinesol. Crisp white linen on the memory foam mattress in the main bedroom. The couch was comfy and cozy. The only thing...there was only 1 wine glass, but we had our ownThe hosts were responsive to our inquiries as well.I would definitely stay again."

"The home was very welcoming and comfortable. Felt like being at home. The horn has everything we needed and was close to several stories and restaurants. The space was open and very roomy.. There was an outside spot with gas grill and fire pit perfect for our stay.Janet was very humble and mince. She answered all my questions and was quick to respond. The area was safe and comfortable and. Great spot for your family.If you come to Shreveport, here is where you want to be! You will thank me...

"We stayed a weekend in this beautiful house in Shreveport. Everything was great a communication with landlords was fast and efficient. Southern charm at it’s best!"

"Decided to take a quick trip with friends to gamble and eat some good food. The house was great for 6 adults (2couples and 2 singles). The house was clean and well stocked. Had coffee on the porch in the mornings and mid afternoon crawfish out back where there is plenty of seating and room to not feel crowded. The location was perfect not too far from downtown and casinos and close to other businesses if you needed to go grab anything quickly. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The pictures did not do the place justice. It was bigger than anticipated. The kitchen was very well stock with appliances and cookware. It was the little things and attention to detail. The house was clean and well cared for."

"Very clean and homey feel! Only wish we could of had check in instructions a couple of days before and the hot tub was a bit disappointing, very low to the ground and wasn't like a true free-standing hot tub. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. "

"We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was stocked extremely well and the description was very accurate. We enjoyed the privacy and the peacefulness. The fishing was good also."

"The house was nice and clean. Simple to find and get in. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet at night. The only negatives concerns I would raise are 1. A street or two over seems like a rough area. Run down. 2. There is a rental in the back yard we were not, aware of . Two guys walked out of the back yard as we were unloaded the car. It was a puzzling until we realized the situation. Other than that everything was fine. "

"I had a 5-Star stay at Bayou Getaway. The place was clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable and spacious. Everything needed for cooking a meal was available. The location was convenient to restaurants and grocery shopping. I have always loved that area when I visited Shreveport, so I was happy to find this little hidden gem in such a nice area. Thanks Chris and Morgan for being such grand host. I would love to book you all again in the future. "
