"Location was fantastic-lots of eateries/supermarkets/shopping nearby. Buses on the doorstep. Apartment had loads of space-2 bathrooms,kitchen and washing machine were a plus. Getting key,no problem-once we found the right box. Would stay again.Awesome."

"Broken beds and furniture. One key for 3 people. The 3rd bed was an inflatable that deflated multiple times through the night that it was demanded I pay extra for despite the listing & booking stating 2br, 3 queen beds."

"Overall the apartment was clean and a comfortable size. There were basic kitchen utensils and facilities available if wanting to cook a meal. There was salt and pepper available, although it would be helpful to include oil for guests. I found that the water wasn’t hot, therefore I had to wash dishes with warm water, and I was able to shower with just the hot water handle turned (no cold on) and it still wasn't hot. The main issue I had was the smell of cigarettes. Outside the apartment I stayed...

"The property suited our needs perfectly. Great location. Close to the beach. Train just 20 min walk away. The apartment is above the cafe which is also a great place to have breakfast."

"We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future."

"Perfect location and great views from balcony and lounge area. Unit 4 is definitely the pick of apartments as the others didn't have the same outlook. It has everything you need and with a few extras (dish drying rack, shelf in kitchen... food was stored on the fridge, no ther space, hairdryer) could be more user friendly. It had been cleaned but there was mould in the bathroom sink and shower which could easily have been cleaned up. Some newer sheets and towels would be awesome too."
