Beautifully located in the Sweetwater subdivision of Garden City, this cozy log cabin offers gorgeous views of Bear Lake from its wrap-around deck! You'll enjoy all the atmosphere of a mountain cabin, with a lovely setting and and plenty of deer and wild turkeys passing through, yet you'll still be close to all that Bear Lake has to offer. Enjoy a large living area with an open kitchen, a downstairs kids' room that attaches to a game room with air hockey, and close proximity to the Bear Lake Golf Course.

What's nearby:
This home sits four miles south of downtown Garden City, just half a mile from the Bear Lake Golf Course. You'll be a few minutes' drive from dining, shopping, and the famous Bear Lake raspberry shakes in town. The Garden City area offers wonderful year-round fun, with countless beaches, marinas, and hiking and biking trails in the summer and hundreds of miles of snowmobiling and skiing trails close by in winter (including Beaver Mountain Ski Area 16 miles west). There is never a shortage of things to do!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Reaxing getaway
What a beautiful location! Very quiet neighborhood. The house is clean and very well stocked. Ww had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfy and there were extra blankets and pillows. Seems they thought of everything including a basket of things for pets. I've stayed here before and will stay here again!

Fantastic View
The house was very comfortable for the 4 of us. Excellent seating on several nice leather sofas and loveseats. The kitchen was well equipped. The deck is fantastic. Did I mention the view of the lake? We had one problem, the electronic door lock died. A call to the property manager solved our problem promptly. For the kids there is a foosball table down stairs.

Our stay was short but wonderful. There are a few items that need addressed - Grill was pretty gross and the wire brush didn't have any wire left on it to clean the grill. After taking some time to light the gas fireplace pilot light, we left it on pilot overnight. However, I got up at midnight and smelled gas and had to shut it completely off. There were portable heaters downstairs since the temperature from downstairs to upstairs was significantly different. Unfortunately, the heaters flipped the circuit breaker (which we located and turned back on), so were unusable. The pans cooking are a little on the worn side and smaller than what we are used to. Those few things aside, the property was beautiful and fit our needs nicely.

Great cabin for a small family. Only 5 min drive to public beach at Bear Lake. Very well stocked with towels, cleaning and cooking supplies. Only knock against the property is that the AC only goes down to 74. That can make the upstairs master & loft stuffy unless you temp outside allows you to open the windows.

Back again & just as great!
The last time we visited this property was in May of 2020. We loved it then and loved it now! The views of the lake are beautiful. Kitchen fully equipped with all the tools to make our meals. We did notice the addition of the Keurig which was nice! Thanks for being great hosts and responding quickly to our messages. Wish we could give 10 out of 5 stars!!

Fabulous house in a great location. So enjoyed the area for activities, but mostly enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine watching the sun go down on the mountains on the other side of Bear Lake

Pros -very clean upon arrival and fresh smelling -comfy beds -well equipped kitchen and bathrooms for all needs -parking for several vehicles including a boat/trailer -wifi (also a con because kids won’t stay off phone) -amazing view from back porch -bbq grill and heater with full propane -central a/c and fans throughout -plenty of TV Chanel’s included and cable tv -plenty of extra linens and blankets -quiet Neighboor except for the construction next door Cons -unpaved roads to property very bumpy sharp turn to get boat and or trailer in -would be nice to have a queen in second bedroom. Instead of a full -bigger TV in living room. -spiders in the basement bedroom need some bug spraying -quite a few bees on the back deck Over all we would defiantly stay again! Thank you excellent property.

Better than we expected
This cabin was bigger than we expected and had everything we needed. From little bottles of shampoo and conditioner to extra bedding, everything was there. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay.

Cabin in subdivision at bear lake
Beautiful clean, cozy, big cabin in subdivision by bear lake. Very quiet and comfortable. Owner had everything you needed if you forgot something. Dirt steep roads up to cabin, if you are pulling a big boat think about renting a boat slip during your stay. Didn't need to communicate with property manager.

Best equipped kitchen. The view of the lake was incredible. Enjoyed watching the sunrise. Beds/ couches are well worn- but that wouldn’t stop me from coming back.

Pleasant Views, Spacious rooms.
We rented here for the weekend, and it was an enjoyable time away. This property has great views of the lake and is set gar enough away that you don't hear road noise. I would stay here again.

Great cabin amazing view
This was perfect for what we were after. I brought my wife, 4 kids all 6 and under, and my parents. My parents were able to use the secluded upstairs bedroom and bathroom, while my family occupied the main floor and basement. The area under the table in the kitchen wasn’t completely swept, but everything else was very clean. The best part, probably was the serene evening view of the lake. It’s elevated high enough that you can see from Garden City to the north beach and lake and hills to the East. The grass on the side of the house allowed us to play cornhole. The grill came in handy, the beds were comfy, the wraparound deck made for a relaxing area, and we had a great time.

Fun and family friendly
Super easy check in with text and emails with information all in one. Kitchen had great amenities: coffee maker, crock pot, griddles, spices, sugar, flour, and all other necessary items. Outdoor grill is in great shape and works well. Plenty of extra Bedding and towels were provided and easy to find. The washer and dryer were a must for the beach so it was nice to have them handy. Extra sand toys, cooler, stroller, pack and play, wagon and high chair there to make your trip fun and worry free. Only compliant is beds were not comfortable at all, and a queen size bed would be nice in the main floor bedroom instead of a double. It is also pretty close to other homes in the neighborhood even though the pictures make it look secluded. No fires were allowed, I think due to fire ban. The grassy part of the yard is pretty small and steep in the back, but the play room and deck leave plenty of room for play (We had 4 young children with us and they had a blast). Overall Very clean and welcoming. Really just being picky. Good cabin! 👍🏼

Amazing cabin
So clean, so comfortable! I would love to stay here again. The only complaint was that it was difficult to park the boat with the driveway being a little steep in places.
