Stunning views out of every window and 2 large secure paddocks that you can let your 4 legged friend enjoy with no fear of them getting out. "We really enjoyed our stay in these combined cottages which have been refurbished to a high standard. The setting beside the river is lovely - saw kingfishers and herons. Beds v comfortable, bathrooms good. Worth mentioning that all bedrooms are up stairs, but our party, whch included 2 with walking difficulties managed fine. We are very likely to come back"

"Lovely place to stay, right next to some stunning walks, and some that are a short drive away. Would recommend taking slippers as the floor is tile downstairs and gets cold and slightly damp in evenings. The cottage itself is lovely and cosy when warmed up, extra blankets were also provided making it a bit cosier. "Booked to stay for 1 night after a trip to Alton Towers. It's a shame we didn't stay for longer as the kids absolutely loved it - particularly the garden which was packed with things for them to do, including a zip line. Would definitely recommend for families and groups of friends with kids."
