"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Karla's apt. The neighborhood was quiet, the deck view was lovely, and the room was just perfect for us. A lot of kitchen amenities, well stocked linens, etc. Karla was easy to communicate with, and the property was surprisingly easy to get to from downtown Berkeley. We give this the perfect score; a wonderful place to stay! "

"We had to book this location a day before we made it out there so I was nervous about what we were getting into but it was perfect! I must mention that we did not have AC in the unit we stayed in and coming from the south, that was very unusual. Little did we know, you didn’t even need AC! The ceiling fans were enough and kept us COLD as we slept! The host was responsive and very helpful! "

"For a single or a couple who do not plan on cooking anything beyond a microwave something, this unit is a perfect home base for a few days of tastings and superb restaurants within easy walking. It’s just off the west side of the square, has adjacent parking, Whole Foods is across the street, the patio was really nice for evening relaxation and morning coffee, bed was really comfortable, and it was super clean and nice. Host is wonderful. Nothing but good things to say here!"

"I think this was our fourth stay in the appointment at La Loma Avenue. It is always a pleasure to stay with Susan and Greg. Their hospitality and friendlyness really makes it a great place to stay. You can walk to the university, to great shopping and cafes (eg Cheese Board!). And the view to the Bay is amazing! I hope that we will get the opportunity to return in the future."

"Very nice, centrally located condo in Oakland off 580. Easy freeway access to go anywhere. Safe, secure building and very quiet. There is a parking garage and you will be very happy to have it as street parking is limited. The garage can be a little intimidating at first to get into the parking space but follow instructions to circle through the garage and then pull into the space. "Staying in Barbara's unit was a lovely garden experience. Amenities were great, it was clean and she went out of her way to accomodate us with freezer space as we were headed to the mountains after.the road noise was unexpected, but the windows cut most of it out once inside. We would ask for more time with the A/C on had we known we could. Hot tub didn't get hot but we were busy elsewhere so it was fine. We would definitly return."
