"The reception was extremely helpful with all our queries even before we got to the property and really helped make sure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment came with amazing views and the basic necessities. The pool was a very nice size and kept clean for us to enjoy. We also booked a horse riding lesson which was with a great instructor and I’d highly recommend a ride if you have the time. Thanks for the hospitality! "

"Me and my girlfriend had a beautiful stay. The apartment was as descripted. It was very clean and sweet. Even if there is no air conditioning, the apartment had a good temperature the whole time. We had our own area outside and the garden and the pool were very nice as well. The family was very kind and lovely. They picked us up from the train station and brought us back. They even brought us to the bike rental and gave us recommendations. The landscape was really beautiful. We would definitely...

"Gorgeous property in a Tuscan hill-top village. The house is just incredible. Lovely and cool, due to all the ancient stone, but with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Fantastic showers - really powerful - and a much-needed plunge pool for when we needed relief from the heat. The location of the house is perfect. Supermarket and bars/restaurants/wine-tasting all within walking distance. "

"Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum verweilen. Hier kann man wortwörtlich die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir würden mehr als 5 Sterne geben, wenn wir könnten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es ist wahnsinnig liebevoll mit vielen kleinen Details eingerichtet. Dazu ist der Pool mit der Aussicht einfach das I-Tüpfelchen oben drauf. Auch ist Marilia eine wahnsinnig zu vorkommende Persönlichkeit. Wir haben uns durch ihre liebevolle Art und Weise gleich wohl gefühlt. Auch hat sie sich Zeit genommen...

"Beautiful and spacious villa for extended family. The grounds are wonderfully landscaped and views breathtaking! The location was central to visit Florence and nearby hill towns. "Our family of 17 stayed at a villa near Montespertoli. In fact the villa also was a winery and olive oil producer. Nicola was the host as well as the owner. He was available for everyone of our guest. Requests from laundry to suggestions for restaurants, to taxi services to Florence...Nicola was always available to take care of us. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue and host."

"Foi incrivel ficar no La Controra! Fiquei 6 dias e amei a estrutura e as pessoas. Perto tem uma estaçao de metrô que dá acesso a outras partes da cidade. Café da manhã excelente e cozinha boa. Fiz ótimas amizades :)"

"From the moment you step in you feel the warmth and kindness from the staff, and the attention to detail is notable in every corner of the hotel. It was a fantastic experience, exploring the Tuscan countryside, while enjoying a superb property. Most of the food is locally produced, with natural and organic ingredients. The rooms are sumptuous, with comfy beds, high quality linen and all the perks one could wish for a relaxing city scape! The restaurant Golpaja serves amazing food, special thanks to Francesca and Simona who made our stay even more special. This is indeed an unique property and the staff really make you feel part of the Petriolo family. Hope to be back real soon! "
