"Stayed in Avon for a visit to Vail for the weekend. The free local bus is a walkable distance from the home and easy to use to get around between Vail and Avon or just around Avon. The host was so kind and accommodating. She was able to allow for early check in and a later check out. She made a fresh breakfast for us that was delicious. It’s unfortunate the facility is for sale, but I hope that they can continue to run the home as is because it is a charming, local stay. The negative reviews are...

"Outstanding stay in historic home in keystone with beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. We were given a tour when we arrived and offered use of a gorgeous fireplace (ready to light) and sitting room, but we decided to take a walk and sit on patio overlooking pond instead. We saw a moose, beaver, wonderful birds including hummingbirds.
