"Katahdin Inn is undergoing refurbishment, but this did not affect our stay in our room, which was comfortable. The lobby had an interesting layout. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only difficulty was getting to the parking area. There is a great need for resurfacing the drive. It had some ruts that needed filling in. Nice indoor pool."

"This is an old-fashioned motel. It's pretty dated and lacks modern amenities. However, it was clean, convenient, the bed was comfortable and Chris, the owner, was extremely responsive. If you find yourself in Millinocket, I would definitely recommend it."

"This was just what we were looking for. Just enough to be comfortable. Cabin was well appointed with anything you could need. Very peaceful and quiet. There is something about a dirt road where everyone waves at each other that brings life back into focus. Tons of hiking and kayaking. Also did about 50 miles of bike riding. Only negative was mosquitoes but they weren’t constant. Didn’t even use a full bottle of bug spray over a week. Will be back again."

"This was our second stay at this magical property! We were there for a long weekend with adult kids and one high schooler. Everyone had had a bit of a stressful Fall and the home in its gorgeous was the cure for what ailed us. Gorgeous, super fun, creatively designed house with some of the best views I've seen anywhere, even on gray days. Convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain biking as well as kayaking/canoeing and (for the hardier souls) swimming. Highly recommend!"

"As soon as I saw the enclosed porch I knew it would be perfect. And the rest of the house was wonderful too, warm, clean, comfortable. This was our 1st trip to northern Maine. Here for the solar eclipse. And we will be back to this beautiful home away from home."

"Adorable and welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Although our group was small, it can easily accommodate a large group. Kids would love it! General store next door is a delight. Walking distance into town for shops and restaurants. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. 10/10"

"Beautiful, clean location for our 32nd anniversary. Very enjoyable cabin, loved the firepit by the lake. Well stocked kitchen, except needs a strainer for cooking pasta and draining food items. We appreciated being able to use the owners dock to tie up our boat. Biggest complaint, the lake needs to produce more trout and salmon, and less bass and perch! (Like you can change that, right?)."

"The home had most everything that we needed. Loved the location on the lake and the proximity to Baxter State Park and Millinocket! It was quite comfortable. The window blinds need to be replaced so that they are easier to raise and lower, but that is minor. Note that the cold and hot water controls in the lower level shower are reversed."
