"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"The bed is SO comfy. The view from the deck, and even inside the room, is beautiful. Chocolate chip cookies and fresh cut cantaloupe (along with other fruits)were waiting for me when I arrived and I’m not ashamed to say the cookies were gone in literally 10 minutes of my arrival 😳. Loved her homemade soap/lotion/oils as well and will be purchasing for gifts (and myself 🙂). "

Very close to restaurants and shopping but walking isn't really an option because the neighborhood leads to a busy road with no sidewalks. Very inexpensive uber ride just about anywhere though. We enjoyed our stay very much."
