"Comfy beds are important and they had them. I have stayed in many places where beds hurt me and I slept miserable. Would stay here on any visit. Building is older.... but things were clean. There was a dispensary in the lot. I didn't know that when I booked room. Maybe the same owners? Wasn't expecting that when we pulled in. It was a no smoking property. We ate breakfast elsewhere. There was packaged breakfast things offered to guests. Quiet. Safe. Easy parking. "

"Classic old hotel in a terrific location. Sure, it's a little creaky, maybe a little leaky, but age has that effect on all of us. I walked up and down Howell St. and Crystal Terrace to visit the restaurants on Spring St., which is a great way to see the neighborhood and to work off the calories. And I always appreciated the resident feline management team that would greet me on my return. I paid a premium for a room with a balcony, and I don't regret it."

"Property is much quieter than others in the area despite being very near a trolley stop and other B&B’s. It has the cleanest and nicest rooms of the several other places I have stayed in Eureka. The breakfast is excellent with large portions and a balance of sweet and savory. And the owners are very friendly and efficient. Saw several returning customers at breakfast. Great trip and will certainly be back!"

Tuesday & Wednesday were not able to get internet or TV at all. Maid came over to address problem, but she wasn't able to get it on either.
