"The quiet location with windows and a deck overlooking the river offered great views and wildlife viewing. The owner, Russ, was very hospitable and provided helpful information about the area. Definitely would stay here again.A great beginning to our Alaska experience!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Cable House. Plenty of room for 4 people. Tanguy & Sebastian were very responsive. Shower had lots of hot water with pressure. Bedding was very comfortable. Full well equipped kitchen. House overlooks the water and is only 2 blocks from the main street. Unfortunately it rained our entire time there. Would have enjoyed sitting on the front porch. "This well-equipped home was perfect for the 4 of us women. I slept on the couch, which wasn’t as comfortable as the beds, but the home was well-equipped in the kitchen, had a washer and dryer, and was located near downtown and the harbor. We needed bedding for the couch and owners were very responsive in bringing it over. "

"This property is in a great location. It is a very short walk to the beach, delicious food and interesting shops. Owner was super friendly and helpful. The rental was clean, had everything we needed. The owner left us fresh fruit, flowers and pastry!"

"This apartment was the cleanest rental we have ever been in. It was newly renovated, had an efficient layout and was perfectly stocked. It is close to town, yet private and quiet. It's easy to locate and the views are stunning. We highly recommend and can't wait to go back. Thank you, Susan for sharing this perfect get away with us. Bill and Kathy"

"Our host Gary was on top of it and got us in earlier than we had hoped and even upgraded us to a nicer, roomier and cozy cabin. We stayed on for three nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The spa was wonderful on a cool frosty night or morning and was clean and well kept. WE definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others who want a quiet scenic getaway cabin overlooking Trail River and the Kenai Mountains. Tom, Charlie and Katmai"
