"Near the volcano, which is why we picked it. Reasonable price, near the village and the volcano house. The room was large and fairly clean. The frogs kept us awake, but we got used to them. Very responsive hosts, there is no host at the lodge, but there are plenty of supplies if you run out of towels or coffee, or anything you can usually get from a hotel. The neighborhood seems safe. "Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin."

"Muito agradavel, apenas achei a cama muito pequena. O quarto é espacoso e decoracao rustica que combina com o ambiente. Poderia ter um abajur mais acessivel para liga desliga a noite. O cafe da manha é bom, mas pena nao ter papaya, quando solicitei, mesmo pagando extra. O jantar foi delicioso. O estabelecimento fica mesmo bem proximo ao Parque Nacional. Recomendo muito "

"最初、Kioskとはなにかわからなかったが、行けば分かるように掲示板があった。また、google mapでみたとき、駐車場がどこかわからなかったが、問題なく駐車スペースがあった。バストイレは共通だが、タオルの入れ替えは2日に一回くらいだった。冷蔵庫に物を保管するときは、近場のスーパーで得た紙袋に部屋番号を書いていれておいた。特にイタズラされることはなかった。玄関の鍵を開け閉めするのにコツがあり、鍵を深く入れてから、抜けないようにすこし鍵を引いたところでしか回らないものだった。また、靴を脱ぐスタイルの宿だった。しかし、kilaueaからかなり近く、利便性はよかった。古いので温水が出るのに時間がかかった。費用は抑えられた。また火山の活動と休みがあえば、泊まりたいと思う。"

"Property is more of an Airbnb. It was located in a lush tropical property and check in was a key left in the units door. Good location for visiting Volcanoes park. Good place if you’re mode of travel is simple with minimal amenities. Owners made the stay comfortable. Unfortunately not many restaurants were open on our Monday visit. "

"O lugar é maravilhoso para quem está buscando tranquilidade. Fica a menos de 2 km da entrada do parque dos vulcões. É silencioso, com clima ameno. Não há café da manhã como estamos acostumados no Brasil, mas deixam suco, geleia, frutas e um bolo de banana maravilhoso no quarto, onde fiz meu desjejum. O ideal é estar de carro. Mas como não aluguei carro, peguei um táxi mesmo do aeroporto de hilo para lá. Consegui fechar um preço de $ 75. Altamente recomendado"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. There was a good amount of information on the area and a tv with current info on the volcano. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Overall,...

"The accommodations were terrific, a great value in superb location for visiting Volcanoes National Park and Hilo area. Spacious, comfortable beds. Host was very accommodating by offering to deliver to-go breakfasts as we had an early morning flight. I recommend the Lanikai Brewing Co for dinner if you stay here- the best food we ate in Hawaii for adults and kids- also great beer and excellent cocktail lists with low-key come as you are feel (i.e. sweatpants)."
