"We loved this home away from home! Spacious home - lots of bedrooms - excellent kitchen - right on the lake - who could ask for more! Our host Drew was great! He was available to answer questions - his communication was on point! We will be back!Jane De Grasse"

"Had everything necessary for a fishing trip. Bed mattresses are outdated but better than sleeping in a truck. Not enough hot water for 4 men to take hot showers after a day of getting stinky from fish slim, but clean and quite. Sufficient for our needs."

"My family and I had a wonderful 5 days at this property. There were plenty of comfortable bedrooms to accommodate our whole group with room to spare. Very pleased with the amount of bath towels and beach towels provided along with the many toys for the lake. Our host was very accommodating and we all appreciated that. If we are ever back in the area again, we will certainly book again!"

"Everything was as expected. Our family enjoyed our stay. It was a successful week all around. "

"The home was well equipped with everything we needed and more to spend quality time gathering with family - both inside and outside the home in the spacious backyard and patio areas. Thank you to the Nykamp family for not just opening their home, but ensuring all amenities were well stocked so we didn’t have to worry about anything beyond our basic needs and enjoying each other. I also appreciate their responsiveness when contacted about anything regarding the home. "

"House was clean and came with all of the little things a lot of rentals don’t. We had hand soap in every bathroom as well as shampoo and conditioner. The view was absolutely gorgeous. We watched cranes and turtles and ducks all from the comfort of a couch. Plenty of parking spaces. Would absolutely recommend and stay there again. Nice job host. "

"Pros: overall clean, nice location, beautiful view Cons: mice feces in kitchen-under sink, in drawers, in pans and bowls, stove drawer. Had to wash pots and pans before we used. Feces were also in the half bathroom. Suggest professional exterminators. Also photo of firepit on website is misleading. Picture shows ground filled with rocks. The ground actually has ripped and torn landscaping ground cover material. Makes it look shabby instead of groomed like in the picture."

"11 of us traveled from out of town for my mom's funeral. It could not have been more perfect. Gorgeous older home with classic charm. It felt like home. And it gave us all space and time to be together. We enjoyed the pool, screened back porch and we weregrateful for the many bathrooms."

"I recently enjoyed a month-long stay at this delightful VRBO. The house itself is quaint and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The property had all the amenities one could need for an extended stay. From a well-equipped kitchen to reliable Wi-Fi, and not to mention,walking distance to an amazingly fun restaurant, Nacho Margarita. One of the standout aspects of this stay was the hosts. "The facility was perfect! Two comments: A substantial security deposit is held, apparently not refunded till you submit your review? Second, the email with the "key" or door code to the stay was buried in my email from the Wednesday before my Saturday stay, hence the 1/5 for communication? Again, the facility was perfect! Peaceful! Wonderful!"
