The Neighborhood:
LoDo, or Lower Downtown, was once hailed as the Wild West's unofficial capital—a bustling haven for cowboys and gold miners seeking excitement akin to 19th-century Las Vegas. Today, this historic district has retained its vibrant heritage while transforming into Denver’s hub of contemporary cool. Explore trendy après-ski cocktail bars, breweries, captivating museums, and eclectic boutiques lining its streets.
Sports enthusiasts can cheer on the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field, conveniently located in the heart of LoDo. Just a short drive west, the majestic Rocky Mountains beckon with endless outdoor adventures. Whether you crave cultural experiences indoors or outdoor excursions, LoDo seamlessly blends urban charm with natural beauty, offering something special for every visitor.
Nestled at the heart of Denver, LoDo perfectly melds nostalgia with modernity. This lively neighborhood boasts nearly 100 restaurants, clubs, galleries, shops, and hospitality venues, making it a must-visit for residents and tourists alike. Dating back to 1858, LoDo's history is steeped in the discovery of gold at the confluence of the South Platte River and Cherry Creek. Over the years, it has evolved into a vibrant urban center, showcasing some of the finest late nineteenth and early twentieth-century commercial architecture in the American West. Whether you seek delectable dining, exciting nightlife, or unique shopping, LoDo offers an unforgettable experience for all.
