It was so fun to see all of the sheep each morning and watch the sunset in the evenings. "This property in near everything we wanted to see yet far away from the busy tourist areas. Everything we wanted to see was a short drive away. At the end of the day we could retreat back to our villa and relax and get a good nights rest. Carine was a real sweetheart and very responsive. "

Die Zufahrt ist für sehr große Autos schwierig, aber sehr gut möglich. Mit unserem VW Crafter hatten wir am zweiten Tag den Dreh raus und schafften die Einfahrt im Ort ohne Probleme. "This is a beautifully furnished and restored house. The quality of the furnishings and kitchens and bath are excellent. The pool is beautiful and we loved the covered loggia area so you could lounge poolside but still have cover from the sun. Easy to get to several interesting towns including Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano. The house manager was very helpful and pre-shopped for groceries and is available to line up lots of activities. Definitely recommend a stay with family or friends."

"We were a group of 10 using this house as a home base for our daily travels throughout Tuscany. Cally and Alex were fabulous. They were always quick to answer any questions we had. The house was so special…simply fabulous. Every inch of the house was just perfect. I was sad we didn’t get to spend more time enjoying the house and the amazing property. "Absolutely delightful home in a breathtaking setting! We were a group of 19 who filled the home beautifully. Our hosts checked in with us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. Try Hotel Roma in Buonconvento for dinner, and be sure to sample gelato at the shop down the street from the hotel! We also enjoyed a wine tasting of the estate wines. Highly recommend this villa!"

"We stayed 11 days in this wonderful house close to Asciano. It's cosy and comfy and the view from the bedroom is breathtaking. Having our own piece of garden was wonderful. Supermarket and restaurants are wthin walking distance. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very friendly and even gave us a map of the local area, with highlighted towns to visit. We also had an olive oil tasting with their son and learned all about how it’s made and why it tastes different each year. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again."

"Property is closing and looks like it. Very unfortunate, I was there 30 years ago with fond memories! Obviously I should have done more homework!! Very sad."

Amazing place for couples and families

"The property is really very beautiful. The details of the decoration reminded us the generations that inhabited Italy in the past. The sightseeing of the property are lovely and the lots of birds sang in the sunset ad we drank a glass of wine in one of the gazebos (incredible!) Nearby Siena and other ancient tuscany cities that you can reach in a short drive (1h or 1h30h) like Volterra, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Monteriggione and Cortona. The breakfast was very good, with italian bread strait from the oven, cheese, ham, fresh italian tomatos, cakes, jelly (all produced locally)"
