"The bed is SO comfy. The view from the deck, and even inside the room, is beautiful. Chocolate chip cookies and fresh cut cantaloupe (along with other fruits)were waiting for me when I arrived and I’m not ashamed to say the cookies were gone in literally 10 minutes of my arrival 😳. Loved her homemade soap/lotion/oils as well and will be purchasing for gifts (and myself 🙂). "

"Just want to leave a quick review. The King Room w/Kitchenette at the Admiral Sim’s house was the perfect spot for us for our Newport 4 day getaway. Very clean room, clean bathroom with everything you might need for your stay. Kitchenette was just the perfect size for everything we needed, bed was very comfortable, location is fantastic to get anywhere around Newport. Also you couldn’t ask for a nicer, more responsive host! Thank you again! "

"The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable place to relax after a long day of exploring Newport. Very close to restaurants and shopping but walking isn't really an option because the neighborhood leads to a busy road with no sidewalks. Very inexpensive uber ride just about anywhere though. We enjoyed our stay very much."

The parking is first come first serve and there are only 2 designated spots, which can be a little bit inconvenient since some of the other visitors park their car and never leave."

"Overall, I will give this spot 4/5 only because it could use a little TLC but, it is all minor! The yard is super quant and cozy. My wife and I used this spot for our small elopement. We had just around 25 people at the ceremony, food was catered in. The spot was just the perfect size for an event like this! The beach is a 5 minute drive over. "

"We almost don’t want others to know what a great spot this is! Very relaxing, only moved car once over a four night stay. Well equipped, location is optimal. Had all toiletries and a loaded keurig coffee station Wasn’t a problem for us, but stairs were on the steep side if mobility is a concern. Keyless entry was great! "

The location was close to everything and Edward was incredibly responsive and helpful with local recommendations The house was very stocked with many extra items and made us feel right at home. "The pictures were accurate and for a VRBO the furniture and beds were all extremely comfortable! Many times we’ve had a bed squeak all night or a mattress that was like concrete….not here! The driveway is very tight to get in and out of and if parking is occurring on both sides of the street, it’s even harder. The outside is rough but you can tell they’ve tried painting, etc."
