"Spacious room in a delightful farmhouse set in majestic countryside. Host Alison was charming and helpful. Quiet with very comfortable bedding, delicious continental breakfast overlooking Scottish countryside. We felt at home here and most certainly plan to return in future. Wayne and Annabelle "

"Beautifully updated property near Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was large with a king size bed, a lovely view from the window, large bathroom room with a large enclosed shower. Nice soap and shampoo. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. "

"Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable. The house has a lot of character and original features. The view from our room was amazing, looking right out to the sea and Arran. You can walk through the back garden out onto a path along the sea front which also leads down to the beach, spent...

"Sauberes Zimmer, Super Frühstück, Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hilfe gab es auch bei der Restaurantreservierung. Im Zimmer selbst gibt es eine große Tee und Kaffeebar, sowie 2 Sessel in denen man sehe gemütlich sitzt. Aussicht ist toll und sehr ruhig gelegen. Kann jedem nur empfehlen hier her zu kommen. Die Gastgeber haben die Einrichtung sehr gut durchdacht und es ist alles da was man braucht. Das beste B&B auf unserer Schottlandrundreise. Besser als jede Hotelkette."

"Quiet and secluded - lots of nature and of course, deer! Knowledgeable Shammi has a restaurant or cafe for every opportunity. "

"I absolutely loved my stay at Crossaig Lodge and I cannot thank Susan enough for going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Would thoroughly recommend, but would make sure you’re a confident driver, as the road to the property is a little treacherous. "

"A guest house é realmente super gostosa, boa comida fresquinha, café da manhã ótimo, quartos aconchegantes, banheiro novinho, vista espetacular do lago! Únicas poucas reclamações: se adiante pois o jantar vai só ate as 7 da noite!!!!! A dona foi super simpática e nos ofereceu a oportunidade de jantar lá, mesmo sendo um pouco mais tarde, pois estava chovendo muito. Um outro detalhe que chega até a ser engraçado: a dona do hotel desliga o sinal de televisão. Sim!!!! Além de todos irem dormir...

If you want amazing hill views , a relaxed environment and friendly locals it's a great place to visit. Allendale house is very easy to find. Get off the ferry .. turn left and aim up hill.
