"I really enjoyed my stay, it was convenient to beautiful attractions that was a short walk. Had sidewalks the way there not to mention it's right there in the historic town with amazing buildings restaurants and so many unique stores. The inn had an extra parking lot across the street very safe and quiet. Had some great pizza at Michaels. "The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

"Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! She gave us suggestions for food and attractions to visit. She told us to call anytime for anything. She was so very sweet and friendly. A jewel she is. ...

"This was an amazing cottage. My boys, our pups, and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was stocked with everything we needed for both fun and relaxation. We loved the bench swings, hammock, and the reading barn for relaxation, and there were plenty of kayaks and canoes to choose from for fun. The host was very helpful and available when/if needed. There was some bad weather on our first night, and he even called to check on us the next morning. We will definitely be back!"
