Well, where to begin. When we arrived, keep in mind it was for an event, so we got there at check- in..as did everyone else. We had to circle the block about 5 times before we could actually park in front of the hotel for valet service. The check-in line was wrapped around the lobby, which felt like an inferno at this point. The staff did hand out water, which was a plus. When we finally reached the desk, check-in went smoothly, and we asked about staying an extra night and were told he put our names in the system and to come fown the next morning to pay for the extra night. Fine, we could do that. We we also given 7 free drink vouchers
..perhaps we should have seen that as a sign. We went to our room, and upon exiting the elevator, the carpet screamed 1970s grandmas couch,an odd orangey lime plaid that probably didn't know what a shampoo was. Our room was right between 2 elevators (not sure how they passed inspection), and was an abomination in itself. The room itself was not a thing like what we saw on the website, not even a cousin thrice removed. The room was tiny, walk sideways to get past the bed tiny. The bathroom was tiny, and the carpet was questionable. Went to our event almost immediately. When we got back, the ac, the tv the phone and 3 lamps didnt work. They moved us to a remodled room which was better, but the ac leaked, shower had mold and drawers fell out of cabinets. We did not stay the extra night, which did not even get booked as told. 4 STAR HOTEL? NO.
