The Quinta de Santa Isabel Rural Tourism is a rustic space, of limited comfort, consisting of five apartments with accommodation for 2 to 4 people, each of them having a small well-equipped kitchen, which includes a Nespresso coffee machine. Being a rural area in a medieval building, it does not intend to offer the comfort of a hotel. However, all apartments have free internet at 100 MB.
The farm, located on the edge of this village, maintains the characteristic traces of the rural houses of the time, with traditional covered porches where the harvest was dried and the corn was defoliated.
The Quinta is seven kms from Chaves and only five from the Spanish border, in the village of Santo Estêvão, where its Medieval Castle saw D. Sancho I married his daughter, the Infanta D. Teresa and where she also lived D. Afonso III. It was also in this Castle that, on the eve of D. Dinis, the future Queen Saint Isabel stayed.
Following the garden and at the beginning of the hillside, there is an old vineyard, where you can appreciate table grape varieties. At the top of the Quinta, a fresh and dense pine and oak forest interspersed with granite cliffs invites you to stroll
