"A bit worn and come-as-you-are. So, maybe not a 5-star for everyone but worked perfectly for our large group of hikers. Plenty of comfortable beds and places to hang out. Everything was in working order and check in/out and communication with owner was excellent. Really nice location in town and close to a couple of great restaurants and coffee shop and even a place to pick up some grocery items (though not a full shop). For a large group of active people, I'd recommend it."

"The house is comfy and clean. Bedding was cozy. Kitchen was clean. Nice furniture. Outdoor deck furniture wasn't cleaned off/wiped down -- which would have been nice since that should be part of the cleaning fee. It is in a nice neighborhood in Glacier, WA. Which has a great restaurant (Gunners), decent coffee shop, and a store. Lots of hiking nearby, and the Nooksack river a couple blocks away. "Beautiful home and view of Mt. Baker. We had a septic issue that our host was right on top of and it was resolved that day. The microwave oven also stopped working, but again it was taken care of right away. It was perfect for us and our family. "

"We loved the cabin with all its beautiful interior updates. It was the perfect size for the two of us. The bathroom and shower were exceptional. The kitchen has almost everything we needed. A cozy and special place to just hang or use as a base to head up to Mt. Baker. "

"We loved the Knotty Lodge. Our family (four of us--with an active 15 year old son and introverted 19 year old daughter) were there for almost a week at the end of July. We were looking for a place with nice outdoor space and it was perfect. Sure the environment itself is beautiful but it is the way the owners created the outdoor spaces which made it so lovely.
