"We loved the location, we loved the property. Reason for a four on the over all rating was we found that the home was not well insulated from sound. You could hear every conversation from every room and I assume that is way the host left ear plugs in all the bedrooms. Also, the kitchen stove, refrigerator and microwave were left very dirty from prior guests. I was told the cleaning crew “missed” that area and apologized."

"The location was great. We rented the cabin for a girls week and planned on doing most of our meals at the cabin. The kitchen amenities were adequate. The beds in my option weren’t comfortable. The water pressure was okay and there was a slow drain in the downstairs bathroom. The information book needs to be updated. The information was dated around the early 2000’s. Overall not a bad cabin but definitely more of a boys cabin then a cabin for a girls week."

"This cozy, clean, and solidly built cabin is an ideal location for a ski trip to Mt. Baker. Well appointed kitchen, host even supplied ground coffee for the coffee maker. Lovely living room space with all you need to build a fire. We enjoyed the old school receiver, speakers and CD player, great collection of old CDs. Internet was quite serviceable for our needs. You are truly in the forest here with no evidence of neighbors although you are just a couple minutes from the local bakery. Really...

"It was a nice property And had plenty of room. Very nice kitchen. Nice game room and plenty of bathrooms. I was a little disappointed that the garage area that had the ping-pong table was musty smelling. But since we did not use that area of the house I’m gonna rate it higher because it really is a nice place to stay."

"A bit worn and come-as-you-are. So, maybe not a 5-star for everyone but worked perfectly for our large group of hikers. Plenty of comfortable beds and places to hang out. Everything was in working order and check in/out and communication with owner was excellent. Really nice location in town and close to a couple of great restaurants and coffee shop and even a place to pick up some grocery items (though not a full shop). For a large group of active people, I'd recommend it."
