"I booked a property through VRBO from November 27 to December 1, 2024, for a family Thanksgiving gathering. Upon arrival, we found the house to be in an unacceptable condition, far from what was depicted in the listing photos. The fridge, countertops, and stove had old, crusted food, there was a strong, unpleasant odor throughout, and layers of dust covered various surfaces. "We’ve boated and stayed in the Brookville area for several years. Since our kids are all adults, we needed to find a place that could accommodate all of us and 2 dogs. This place was perfect! Close to the lake and the golf course, which we golfed there 5 times!! Even caught a Reds game and fireworks at Brookville. Just a nice time and this place was perfect. "
