"Little House by the Ferry was exactly as described. We wanted a weekend holiday get-away in the off-season and this trip hit the mark. The cottage is as shown in the photos and description. Since it was off-season and only a few on-island amenities were open, it was nice to have the little kitchen details like coffee filters, salt, pepper, etc. The cottage is in a very quiet area and easy walking distance to most places. "I have nothing but good to say about this cute little house. It was tucked away in the center of Ocracoke just enough for privacy but close enough in town to ride the golf cart right down the street to all the shops and restaurants. The inside was decorated so nicely and very cozy. Me, my mom, and my lab had an amazing time.. We will definitely book again in the near future! "

"This property had almost everything you need. We were traveling from Oregon so we’re a little unhappy we had to buy sheets, towels just for a two night stay. "2016 build with staircase to first floor. Caught slot drum on popping cork with Z-Man pearl soft bait shad with inshore oil. Caught pinfish in creek to bait my crabpot and got a dozen keepers to make crabcakes. Beautiful views of sunrise and what a Full moon to view from over the creek! Slept in the loft bedroom with gorgeous view of the water! Bring your kayak or canoe for full water exploration."
