"We Spent the last week of summer before school started back. We had a fantastic time. We spent one day in Beaufort/ Atlantic Beach and took another day to ride the ferry over to Ocracoke (that’s the best return on a single dollar ever!) The house was perfect for 4 children two adults and a dog. We had beautiful nights eating dinner on the porch and enjoying the sunsets, even the sunrises a few mornings . "We loved Heather's cottage, it was clean and just as advertised. Our favorites were watching the sunset on the porch, taking walks in the beach and horseback riding just down the road. Highly recommend, if we ever get a chance to go back to NC this cottage will be the place we'll book for sure! "

"The round house is truly set in a natural habitat that won’t last forever. The sunsets were wonderful and the house well equipped. We blew in with a Nor’easter and had some problems with dunes covering the road to the house but Rodney helped us overcome that with the loan of his 4WD truck to get us through during our visit. "Great house! Comfortable, clean, well kept, we loved the fireplace, the patios, we appreciated the golf cart and bikes and the fact that towels and linens are provided. We would definitely stay in this house again, it was perfect for our family and dog."

"2016 build with staircase to first floor. Caught slot drum on popping cork with Z-Man pearl soft bait shad with inshore oil. Caught pinfish in creek to bait my crabpot and got a dozen keepers to make crabcakes. Beautiful views of sunrise and what a Full moon to view from over the creek! Slept in the loft bedroom with gorgeous view of the water! Bring your kayak or canoe for full water exploration."
