"Beautifully set out and accessible too, which was important for us as a first trip away after my partner suffered a stroke. The host was available to answer questions and also allowed us to leave at our leisure which made such a difference when showering/dressing needs extra time. Garden was a beautiful spot for breakfast in the November sun."

From the time we drove up to the property we were amazed how stunning it was aswell as the location, the views were out of this world and the perfect place to relax and unwind which was exactly what we wanted.Extremely well equipped with everything you require for your stay and Ruth the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. "We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. Highly recommended. "

"The mornings were absolutely beautiful to see from the large front windows. Wild & domestic life (rabbits, so many birds, alpacas, horses, a pony, & a positively awesome dog) were very welcome, & all served to make the experience perfect. Only 10 mins walk to a beautiful beach and 6 mins walk to train station - then 10 minutes train journey to Barmouth which is a lot quicker than the drive around the estuary. Great location for walks in the hills or on beaches. Host was wonderful - got in touch to explain checking in and recommended local places to visit and eat."

"Beautiful quaint little property. A welcome change from the general pace of life. We spent a fantastic week in this beautiful cottage, Christina who owns the property was the perfect host. There was plenty of room for our dog to run around in the outside and even though it was November it was clear that the gardens were amazing. "The house was a great space in a great location. 5 minute walk to town and beach, lots of parking at the house. Lovely downstairs area and bedrooms were very spacious with comfy beds. The house generally had everything you could ask for but there were a few things we ran out of that could do with looking at - we had minimal toilet paper and bin bags so had to go out and buy more and we had no hand towels in any bathrooms but we made do as drying towels are provided, we also couldn’t get the iron...

"A wonderful property for families, children and dogs. Well equipped, beds soooo comfortable. Bathroom/shower areas look lush and work well. The horses in the next field a treat for us all. Next time a longer stay to settle in and explore the area more. Cardigan is lovely, beaches so picturesque. Moody Cow for Sunday Lunch.......the best Ive ever had!! Cant wait to return.
