Palazzo Azzurro - Your own private waterfront resort!

Brand new remodel as of March 2024! Magnificent 7000+ sqft riverfront palace, with INCREDIBLE views, Gulf access, extreme privacy, and centrally located to Sanibel, Ft Myers, and Naples. Available activities include: boating, fishing, island hopping, kayaking, pool/hot tub, wet sauna, sun tanning, outdoor games, indoor board games, billiards and many other activities. Palazzo Azzurro truly is your very own PRIVATE resort!

The estate is appointed with four master bedrooms (all king suites w/ bathroom, the master bedroom also has a queen size daybed), the loft area has 2 bunk beds (twin xl over queen) and a couch with full size memory foam pullout, the private den has a futon, Entry/Rec Room area has a futon and daybed, the great room has two giant bean bags that fold out into king size beds as well as a couch with queen size memory foam pullout, there are also several couches throughout the house. We have accommodated large groups in the past; You can decide how the sleeping configuration will work for your specific group. Altogether there are 16+ sleeping areas. Please see photos for more details on sleeping areas.

The exterior (great for fishing or entertaining) has a huge dock area to park your yacht, gorgeous paver patio with pool and hot tub, tiki hut, sun deck for getting that golden tan. Nearby activities include rentals of stand up paddle boards, kayaks, bicycles, boats and jet skis. Four Kayaks are provided with the house for your use along with other activities like giant Jenga.

You will enjoy cooking in the Top of the Line Gourmet Kitchen, gas pro cooktop with pasta faucet, warming oven, oversize built in refrigerator and freezer, cottage sink with island, custom cabinetry, wet bar, wine cooler.

This is a gorgeous well cared for home, everything has been done FIRST CLASS. The entire home will be at your disposal except for one closet used for owner storage.

Palazzo Azzurro is situated directly on the river cornering the mouth of one of the many popular canals that Cape Coral is famous for, the mouth of the canals are teeming with fish that even the most novice of anglers should enjoy some success. From our home you can explore the many beautiful islands, restaurants and beaches only accessible by water.


The neighborhood is quiet, easy to navigate and close to shopping, dining and entertainment. Centrally located to both Ft Myers (minutes away) and Naples (half an hour). There is a beach minutes from the house at the Cape Coral Yacht Club or Fort Myers beach and Sanibel Beach are approximately 20-30 minutes by boat or car. If you wish to go shopping there are several nearby options. Gulf Coast Town Center, Coconut Point, Miramar Outlet Mall, Sanibel Outlets, Edison Mall, Bell Tower, Costco, etc.

Fabulous home that exceeds expectations!
Everything here is top notch, you will live a life of luxury while staying here! Large enough for our big group to spread out and never feel cramped. 4th of July fireworks at the bridge were SPECTACULAR! Great memories made, unforgettable experience. Thanks to the hosts!

Look no further! This is THE place—the Palazzo!
Fantastic week for our group of 7 (including 2 kids, age 5 and 8)! The house literally had everything we needed. The space was open and comfortable with ample tables and seating (inside and out) but you could also easily retreat to your own room to get away! Bathrooms and bedrooms were all customized, and the shower experience truly sublime (lots of jets and lights!). The kids occupied the loft where there were two bunk beds and arcade games. We used the pool and hot tub daily, kayaked in the canals, and fished off the dock. Dolphins literally swam right up to the property wall every afternoon—look for the one with the nicked fin! And there is a medium sized iguana that hangs out near the back patio. We had one rainy day and played cards and the games in the closet! Also, thank you to whoever left Easter eggs that allowed us to have an egg hunt on Sunday. Location was great, and we went to Ft Myers and Sanibel for day trips. Easy to get to stores and restaurants. Finally, as has been previously mentioned, the host gave the stay a very personal touch, from the furniture he hand-crafted, to the thoughtfully curated art pieces throughout the home, and by being readily accessible to us from the time of booking. Advice: Stay here!! Don’t overpack bc Hello! there are two sets of washing machines! And say Hi to Matt for us!

Best family vacation ever!
From booking questions, modifications, changing the number of guest….. this group accommodated everything! The pictures of this place do not do it justice. The pool/spa was amazing and I’ve never taken more pictures of a sunrise in my life. We had two families and 14 people ranging in age from 1-63 years old. We fished off the dock and pier and grilled almost everyday. I reached out to the host 3-4 times with questions and they responded immediately. This place was perfect for the littles and my highschool aged nephews that came down. Quick drive to everything you need, and the double set of washer/dryer was clutch. Other than loading up with food, this place had everything we needed. Also, the temperature in the house was exactly what we wanted when we needed it. The zone temperature setting let us keep it a little warmer for the baby in our room at night and allowed everyone else to stay cool. TVs everywhere in the house and we had the most awesome dance party one night in the giant open space with the surround sound. It plays inside and out. We will be staying there again!

Great house with Amazing Views
We rented this house to stay with family for my mother-in-law's birthday weekend. She lives a couple blocks away from this house and they were excited to visit the 'blue-roof house'. We had 10 adults staying and there was plenty of room! The owner met us to give us a personalized tour of the house and answer any questions we had. The kitchen was great and well-stocked. All the bedrooms had plenty of room. The outside views, seating, pool, tiki-hut, etc were AMAZING! We were only here for a long weekend but made it a point to get up each morning to watch the sun rise - beautiful!!! Would love to stay again!

Great for large groups…AND the view is amazing
Can’t complain about much, owner was super nice. House was as we expected. Views were better than pictures. House has tons of stuff available…things we never thought we needed but they had it. A few minor issues with the pool but nothing that really impacted our stay. Big plus that Cape Coral puts on their fireworks show within a half mile…. We will be going back!

Worth every penny
We had an amazing time at this house. We traveled with almost all age ranges and everyone had a BLAST! The pictures listed do not do this place justice. From the moment we crossed the bridge and saw the blue roof we were in complete AWE. There were 14 of us total and still plenty of room for more. Pool table, poker table, pool, spa, kitchen, bedrooms, outside tiki hut. So much to do and so little time! We caught snappers, catfish and even crabs out of the river. We were even able to see 3 beautiful dolphins swimming by. Contact with the owners was excellent! Any questions we had were answered right away! In all this was an incredible getaway for my entire family. And I highly recommend.

This property is amazing for a large group. The layout of the house makes it easy to all be in one area and the pool area and view is one of the best features. Matt is very responsive, the house is clean, and in a good location. Highly recommend.

Great spot for family vacay!!
Loved the huge home and waterfront views. There was ample space for everyone in our family to spread out and relax! Many small kitchen appliances and utensils were nice to have. There were some small house repairs needed but that didn’t interfere with our stay. All in all a great property. If you have teenagers who want to ride the jet skis be sure to check with Matt about them taking the state licensing course so they are set once you arrive.

So much room!!
Loved this house for the convenience! We had 20 family members in one house and we never ever felt cramped. It’s so open with beautiful views and always something to do. Our large group comfortable enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The rec room was used to play pool, their is a poker table that some of the 20-23 yr olds enjoyed. We utilized the kayaks, watched the dolphins and manatees come up to our sea wall, enjoyed plenty of seating outside. Their is a nice speaker system inside and outside at the pool. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is such a nice perk. Matt was so wonderful and accommodating! Definitely a place I would go back to❤️

Great getaway
The pool, hot tub and outdoor areas are what make this property the best. We spent mornings on the porch drinking coffee, afternoons floating in the pool, and evenings relaxing in the hot tub. Perfect weekend getaway for our group of adults. There were 5 separate sleeping areas with doors and many other options to allow for sleeping in common areas.

Vacation July 2020
This house was amazing!!!! The views were amazing! The space was amazing! I traveled with family and friends, about 17 people .... teens and adults! There was enough space for everyone and more. The boys fished all day, the girls took beautiful pictures throughout the entire property, and the adults enjoyed the views. We took our boat, so we were able to enjoy the water as well. Matt and his brother was a text away if we needed anything or had any questions. Honestly, this house is well equipped with just about anything you need to prepare large amongs of food to pretty much feed an army. Thank you to the owner for sharing their beautiful home with us. We look forward for next year.
