"Having a specific room requirement the hotel give me options and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. With the Hotel room only refurbished in October 24, they were well finished and furnished. "We had a nice stay at this hotel; friendly staff, nice food, good sized bedroom and lovely views. We had a standard turret bedroom and whilst it was spacious, the en suite was really small and felt like a shower had been squeezed into a room that used to be a toilet room. "The hotel was lovely; the rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. It was very quiet and relaxing. The common rooms were very nice and welcoming. The staff was professional, gracious and friendly. We spent a lovely cocktail hour in the lounge and enjoyed delicious custom cocktails. Dinner and breakfast were first rate! Local foods, creatively prepared. We went for an afternoon hike along the canal, which was easy to access from the property. Highly recommend this property."
