"The house was easy to find and only 6/7 mins walk into town ,the house was beautiful the photos don’t do it justice,the hot tub was a clean and hot ; the only down side was it could of done with some sort of lighting outside around the hot tub as we stayed at the end of Oct and it was dark around 7 o’clock ,otherwise we couldn’t fault anything else."

"We had a really lovely stay at the Old Stables as a group of 30 year olds in Buxton for a wedding. Sue is a very informative host and we had no issues checking in. The house is in an excellent location and within walking distance of all Buxton has to offer. The photos also don’t do the house justice, it is so spacious and has everything needed for a great group holiday! "

"We had four adults stay for ten days and a fifth join us for three nights. It was an incredible experience all around. My husband was directing a show for the Gilbert and Sullivan festival and several of our housemates were in the show. They felt like they were living in luxury! "Peverel House has been lovingly restored to provide a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing home from home. The interior styling, colours and little touches such as the scented diffusers, sleep-enhancing pillow spray, sleep masks and tote bag made you feel very welcome and very special. "A well kitted, comfortable cottage that is centrally located in Buxton town centre. Renovated to a high standard. The shower is over bath by necessity, owing to the original dimensions of this cottage; slightly tricky getting in/out of the bath if you’re 6ft tall, though it can be done. Fluffy great quality towels provided & a super comfy bed. Only caution is if you drive a long estate car: you will struggle to get in/out of the space provided, owing to neighbours’ parking roadside, preventing...
