"Lovely place to stay in a rural setting. The cottage was cosy and warm, and had everything we needed. The only downside was no wifi, but we had a good phone connection so managed with our hotspot. Jo & Clive were great hosts alwsys available and helpful. It is ideally situated for walk, Buxton, Leek and other peak park towns. Would definitely book it again."

"We had 3 lovely nights in The Nook, it was conveniently located close to all amenities. As we had a dog it would have been helpful to know where to take him to do he's business, as the property doesn't have a garden. The kitchen window and door could do with a blind as it would give some privacy, also on the front door window, maybe a little curtain. Could also do with some new towels and bed linen, as they seem a bit worn and dated. These are only minor issues and we would definitely stay...

"Perfectly located for exploring the magnificent peak district. Warm and cosy for when the weather was not so great. Had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable short break. Host was very flexible and easy to communicate with. Would definitely book again. "

"Accommodation was clean, comfortable, within close walking distance to a few eateries and shops, and near Peak District favorites such as Chatsworth House and Bakewell. The children especially enjoyed the playground just across from the back garden. Our only disappointment was that the listing said there was a hot tub, but that must have been an error. All in all a great stay!"

"We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned. "This is an excellent property. The house is outstanding and complemented by an excellent location in easy walking distance of Buxton Town Centre. This was a special holiday for us celebrating, a golden wedding and a 70th birthday during the year. A rare chance to get most of the family together to mark this special year spanning three generations from 74yrs to 5 months it was perfect. Thank you Susan."

"I was there for my mums funeral the people were very polite and pleasant the cottage was perfect for getting away from the stress I will be booking again for the 8th December "

"Our stay at TOTS was perfect. Everything is fresh, clean and charming! Julie has thought of everything you might need, I’ve never stayed at a better equipped rental! We had our 4 month old grandson with us and there was everything we could need for him too. There were breakfast goodies and amazing coffee. The location is great for walking and exploring. Great restaurants within walking distance. Tideswell is just lovely!"

"Perfect location for walking, as on bus route to beauty spots from which you can walk back. Brilliant to have plenty of parking and an exceptionally large apartment, recently refurbished, with all amenities. Only downside was staff made a lot of noise under my room until 1am. Otherwise ideal with reasonably priced food and open fires at the pub downstairs. "

"We had a fabulous time at the palace hotel. The room was lovely and clean and it had a tremendous view of Buxton. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel,both were great, service and quality of the food. We will be back in June as we have booked tickets for a show at Buxton Opera House. "We stayed here as a couple in Jan. beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting. Spa is excellent, lovely facilities and generally clean. Staff were all friendly. Couple of negatives in my opinion, the tiling in the thermal pool looks like it needs replacing. And only one robe for 3 days, it would be nice if these were replaced daily in the room as putting back on cold wet robe the next day isn’t pleasant. That’s just a couple of observations but the stay was relaxing, lovely breakfast with lots of...
