"Great for our party of 13 as there was plenty of room for us all and the kitchen was well equipped with cooking equipment ,plates and glasses etc. Some of the rooms and areas look a bit tired and could do with an upgrade (stair carpets, walls painting and floors could be cleaner downstairs) but bathrooms clean and beds comfy. it’s also great to have the farm shop and the pub next door is great - very friendly and helpful and lovely pub meal and service."

"My partner and I have just returned from this beautiful cottage - it has everything you could possibly need and is in an idyllic spot, close to many walks and with a pub only 2 minutes walk away (there was also a 20% off voucher for this pub waiting for us in the cottage). The cottage was very clean and contained all the amenities you could want or need, with a fully loaded kitchen and 2 modern bathrooms. There is a front and back garden, beautifully tended and fully enclosed, so safe for pets....

"Acer Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area. Tideswell is peaceful yet very well served with essential services. It was a treat to find the Merchant’s Yard just steps away and the bakery was great too. The cottage itself was equipped and furnished to a high level and communication before arrival was excellent. "A beautiful cosy stay. The host has set up the place perfectly with everything you need. We arrived to a warm cosy home. In a great location, not too far from Buxton, Bakewell, Mam Tor etc. Beautiful views and absolutely quiet. Very well maintained property with no hassle at all. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"We had 3 lovely nights in The Nook, it was conveniently located close to all amenities. As we had a dog it would have been helpful to know where to take him to do he's business, as the property doesn't have a garden. The kitchen window and door could do with a blind as it would give some privacy, also on the front door window, maybe a little curtain. Could also do with some new towels and bed linen, as they seem a bit worn and dated. These are only minor issues and we would definitely stay...

"We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned. "This is an excellent property. The house is outstanding and complemented by an excellent location in easy walking distance of Buxton Town Centre. This was a special holiday for us celebrating, a golden wedding and a 70th birthday during the year. "Our stay at TOTS was perfect. Everything is fresh, clean and charming! Julie has thought of everything you might need, I’ve never stayed at a better equipped rental! We had our 4 month old grandson with us and there was everything we could need for him too. There were breakfast goodies and amazing coffee. The location is great for walking and exploring. Great restaurants within walking distance. Tideswell is just lovely!"

"Perfect location for walking, as on bus route to beauty spots from which you can walk back. Brilliant to have plenty of parking and an exceptionally large apartment, recently refurbished, with all amenities. Only downside was staff made a lot of noise under my room until 1am. Otherwise ideal with reasonably priced food and open fires at the pub downstairs. "
