"We were in town for a funeral. A family member told us about the Lofts. Our room was larger than most hotel rooms, the bed was soft, the shower was a walk in. Nice details like cozy throws, and soft lights. Very clean. "

"First time VRBO customer. Process for booking was easy, description of property was accurate. Communication with host was superb. Any issues we had were quickly taken care of. It was as you would expect a cabin to be: minimalistic. All flatware, cooking and BBQ utensils, pot, pan and baking sheet were provided. Pots are sized for cabins. If you intend to cook large group meals bring your own. Very close to water, kayaks & life vests available. Paddle boat available for use. "

"This small cabin served well for a quick weekend of fishing."

"This studio apartment was perfect for my friend and I who needed a place to stay in the area for two nights! The beds were very comfortable, the towels were large and fluffy, and everything was new and clean! We felt safe in walking around during the day, and enjoyed a walk along the river. I highly recommend this apartment!"

"I had a lovely stay. The place was extremely clean with a very well-stocked kitchen. I had everything I needed and more! The bed was very comfortable. The little gestures of candy in the candy dishes, fruit in the refrigerator and good coffee were unexpected and made me smile. As this is a unit below the owners, you will hear footsteps and occasional muffled conversation. But, it didn't bother me. They were quiet and respectful. The view of the lake is spectacular and very peaceful in November....

"Went up to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday. Both youngest kids had a half hour drive from Ferris State University. My oldest had to work in Big Rapids. My parents live an hour and ten minutes away. Perfect location on the lake to have a small gathering for a day. Hiking trails nearby. Spent a night alone in the peaceful morning waking up to a beautiful lake and breeze. Plan to return. "

"We stayed for the night of our wedding and it was perfect. Romantic, comfortable and private. So many cute details, I could tell there was a lot of thought put in by the host. Definitely recommend! "

"Stayed here for a couple of days to spend the weekend fishing for steelhead on the Muskegon River. Accommodations were great; ample space for my husband and I, well stocked, clean and fun decor! Cozy and cute. The fishing was great too! Will definitely return."

"Love it here, been coming here two/three times a year for the past three years when visiting my father. Owner Rhonda and her husband are great. Perfect place for summer fun or fall colors. "

"We love our stay in the Sunset Suite at Blue Heron Retreat. The setting over the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kayaks, and maybe most of all just watching the sunrise over the lake. Everything was very clean and we loved the extra touches like fresh flowers and lavender. We came to the area to Ike the Dragon Trail and are thrilled to have found such a great place to stay. We will be back!"
