"Booked this hotel a the very last minute as the one we were due to stay in had a gas leak. Room was comfy with plenty of storage space. The bed was big. I’m quite fussy when it comes to pillows so it wasn’t the best for me but others may like it. Breakfast was very nice and a wide selection to choose from. The bar area was nice and modern and all the staff were very friendly. I would happily stay there again. "

"Very comfortable log cabin, excellent supplies of both toiletries and breakfast goods. perfectly clean, good hot shower, set for right temperature, hurrah! Only problem was lack of WiFi. Although password given, there was no wifi to log in to."

"The stay was great - friendly staff; great restaurant; lovely spacious room and very comfortable bed. The only downside was that, against the owner's request, Hotels .com continue to sell this with inclusive breakfast, which isn't provided. The village has more great cafe's and bistro's than you can imagine and so breakfast 'out' was not a problem - but Hotel.com misled us with the booking"

"Enjoyed a one night stay here. Received a complimentary upgrade on arrival. Lovely spacious room with large bathroom including a roll top bath. L’occitane toiletries were available in the room. Bed was large and very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Hotel was quiet and we were not disturbed at all during the night. Complimentary water and coffee in room. No parking available on site as they were fully booked so we parked in local public car park a short walk away. This option was a...

"Hotel was great, brilliantly situated for where we needed to be in the town. Ten minute walk from the Assembly Hall theatre. Our room was lovely and big, reasonably priced and breakfast was delicious. Only issues were that I think our room was under a water tank as there were some loud noises around 6am and 7am that went on for a while and sounded like a water tank. It was very windy and some of the windows rattled a little too. Otherwise all good and we enjoyed our stay. "

"Beautiful green area for walks. The spa was excellent and the restaurant offers very good food. Perfect for a trip with a blgroip of friends to relax and chill. "

"Stayed one night for an early morning run in Bedgebury which was really convenient. Staff were superb, room was large and clean, parking was easy. They even let us use the facilities to shower after the run despite having checked out already. Will definitely be using this hotel again for future running events and staying in this area"

"My family and I stayed at Wakehurst, it had everything we needed for a cosy and chilled getaway. Lots of nice touches, just be careful not to have the wood burner going too strong before sleeping cos the top can get very warm - figured out how to adjust the fire and everything else at the dome through the helpful guides/qr code accessible videos provided. Hot tub was amazing, they have it warmed up in advance when you arrive and the weather was good enough for us to enjoy the BBQ properly....
