"We stayed for one night overnight at the hotel and can honestly say it was just basic. The condition of the room was not great, as we soon discovered the lightning did not work properly and the kettle in the room was dysfunctional (reported) The bathroom was clearly in need of renovation as the flooring which was used to cover the sides of the bathtub was peeling away. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. "Lovely house in a nice location. A river at the back wirh a field of sheep to overlook. It is in a small and very quiet estate. We did not hear anyone. All we could hear was the river. The house is all you need for a stay, clean, well equipped, good communucation. Parking at the front. There were 5 of us , 2 adults and 3 children, 13, 10 & 7. We were more then comfortable with pleanty of space. Good cooking facilities and pleanty of storage space "

"We had a lovely overnight stay. The room was small but very well laid out. The small bathroom was very well thought out. My only comment would be that the shower is tiny. I’m a small person but I felt a little claustrophobic in that shower. However I would stay there again as overall everything was lovely."

"Lovely little pub not far out of Merthyr Tydfil and a 20 minute drive from Pen y fan. The double room was small but cosy for one and the was a good shower and plenty of tea. Service was excellent, with a warm welcome and useful information. I was there for two nights and the room wasn't refreshed but this wasn't a problem for me. Breakfast was excellent and there is a great selection of for for dinner in the pub for great prices."

"Mill Lodge is located in a quiet side street with pubs and food shopping nearby. Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. "
