"We loved this cosy, charming character cottage. Easy to travel around the Barossa from here. Clean and fresh, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We travel up to the Barossa each year and will likely be back.. Thankyou Fiona & Mark.. Fay & David."

"I left two nights early. The property is filled with spiders (daddy longlegs and huntsmans) with spider webs everywhere. I cleaned a lot but they return the next morning. Many surfaces were tacky/sticky. There were long strands of dark hair in the bathroom. There are dust balls/old web/grit in all of the corners. The decor is claustrophic and kitsch. There are 3 or 4 pieces of cutlery with melted handles. I sliced my palm on one of them. The light attached to the ceiling fan above the bed...

"Pro - excellent location re view, good size rooms Cons - terrible booking system, owner has no idea what she’s doing re booking systems. Thank goodness for the excellent cleaner who happened to be there and was able to sort rooms out for guests. Breakfast was appalling, so cleaner offered pancakes! Such a shame that owner doesn’t look after the place as it could be lovely. One cpl arrived and had no room despite having a printed confirmation!!"

"We have stayed at Devitt on French a number of times. It is always beautifully presented and managed by an owner obviously keen to ensure the guests are comfortable and happy. Another lovely weekend away in a perfect B&B. "
