"Historic, over 100 years old, and former high school, this is an interesting stay that takes you back to that prior generations' feeling. "The property is in good shape with plenty of parking and an accessible,e ramp. The room was spacious and clean..the staff was very nice and accommodating. This is obvious;y off season and not many were staying there so breakfast was available by asking at the front desk. The wifi was weak and mostly didn't;t reach my room on the 3nd floor making my ability to do business a real pain. I had an online interview which I had to do from the lobby. Not ideal. "

"The proprietor, Ed, took pride in the establishment. There was time taken and attention to detail in the room, as well as the outside of the Inn, being decorated for Christmas. The room was clean and very accommodating. The Inn was in walking distance to dining, shops, and the train depot. I would definitely stay at Calhoun Inn & Suites again and highly recommend it to those travelling to that area, or for those looking for a weekend get-a-way. "

"I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. "We really enjoyed our stay, the location was great and the cabin was comfortable, however the carpet in the bedrooms is pretty dated and stained. And the floor in the kitchen was sticky.
