"Overall, a great lodging in the heart of a quaint community. It was just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and a grocery. (BTW, if you arrive late, like we did shortly after 8, either quickly make to a restaurant–most close their kitchens by 8:30–or do what we did, go down the street toward the grocery near the water's edge and pick up things you can cook). Like all the B&Bs in UK that we stopped at, the fridge is not stocked so you will have to stock it yourself and then probably dump or...

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. "My wife and I loved our stay at the Lodge. The location was very quiet with lovely views. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen for meal prep. It was only a short walk away to the beach that had lots of tide pools and beautiful views of the Skye coast. Would definitely stay here again."
