River Chase Cozy Get-Away Cottage

Our Cottage allows you to get away and relax in comfort. Quietly tucked away you can get the rest you long for and enjoy time away from a busy schedule but yet your within five minutes away from town. We also have Whitetail Haven and Great Escapes Villa and Balooo’s Cabin on our property in case you have a group. We also have different Wedding Venues. Crystal View Weddings and Events. Fire-pit available. Our properties have been with Airbnb for 3 years and have stellar reviews. No Pets Allowed

Other things to note
We are adjacent to 2 golf courses with one being Eagle Crest which is on the Natural State Golf Trails. Alma is home to A to Z which has several stores in one area from Gifts and more, furniture, sporting goods, fashions and tools. The Arkansas Missouri Excursion Train is just 10 minutes away. Our area has many hiking trails and you can canoe the Mulberry River. You can stroll down Historic Van Buren and Fort Smith and visit the Hanging Judge Parkers Courthouse. You can also Step Back into the 1920's & Tour the Ozarks on the Scenic Excursion Train in Van Buren.Our area has something for everyone.
We also have a Dollar Store 1 mile away for your convenience as well as a Walmart Supercenter and Harpsin Alma.
**It’s a 1 bedroom 1 bath. No air mattresses. Seeping on living room furniture not allowed for extra guests.

Clean and Comfortable
My husband and I appreciated how clean and comfortable this cabin was during our recent trip to Arkansas. It had everything we needed and was just as described in the listing. The host, Brenda, was very responsive and pleasant. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

A great place to "reset"...
We can't ask for a better accommodation to stay to reset from life. The cabin is cozy & comfortable. The highlights of our stay is the wildlife, particularly the herd of deer, it was a delight to see. Very quiet and private. Brenda is very easy to get in touch, she responds in fashionable timing. Will stay again!

Cabin for 2
This cabin is wonderful! We loved staying here and it is a great, peaceful location! We came for the bike rally in Fort Smith and didnt want to stay in a stuffy hotel, so we reserved this cabin and its great! So clean, and quiet. The other thing is we drove up here on our motorcycle and the road, that crosses a short distance across a field area, is not great for a bike when it rains, which it was when we arrived. It just needs a bit of gravel or something. Other than that we had absolutely nothing negative to say!! Definitely will come back again!!

Great
Perfect cottage for a couples get away. Very clean and home feeling. Location worked great for our travel needs and it's about 15 mins from shopping. Brenda was wonderful to work with and answered any questions we had.

Great location
We came to take in the fall foliage around the area. The train was just minutes away and less than an hour away from four state parks and the scenic Pig Trail. We saw deer every evening when we returned. Home was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely return.

Cabin was perfect, easy to locate and well off the beaten path. Host was very responsive. Nice cozy stay. Would highly recommend. If your own two wheels beware long gravel entry to property.. Overall fantastic!

Nature at It’s Best
Well equipped kitchen made cooking meals in this cabin extremely easy, allowing time to enjoy sitting outside and watching deer approach the property. A large selection of DVDs for late night viewing might keep you up till wee hours, but sleeping in was easy in this peaceful retreat in the woods.

Perfect little spot for a getaway
My cousin and I really enjoyed staying here while getting away and unplugging. Great proximity to a lot of beautiful scenery, with hiking trails and lakes nearby. Not far from grocery stores and other convenient places to pick up something you might have forgotten. Super easy to deal with the property manager. Actually met her on a hiking trail on the Saturday of our stay and didn't know it. Found out on Sunday at checkout. Small world. Recommend the property.

Absolutely perfect!
This little cottage was like a little peice of heaven nestled cozy in the woods. It was the perfect size for me and my husband for our anniversary. It had such sweet little things like popcorn and cold waters in the fridge. A great collection of dvds to chose from. And walking the property was beautiful. We didn't need to leave to be entertained. It was close enough to things that if we needed anything It was right there. And a fully stocked kitchen made it perfect for us to cook in. We will definitely be visiting this hidden gem again!

Perfect get away
Found this place at the last minute. It was perfect for us. Close to what we needed, but far enough to see the meteor shower. This place has nice little touches from band-aids & popcorn to Cold water and soda in the fridge. Most of all it was clean and well taken care of. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful property!
Absolutely LOVED the cabin! The setting is calming and very enjoyable. The cabin is charming and will definitely stay there again when visiting family! I wish the two cabins had trees or something separating them from each other to make each more secluded.. BUT will still stay there at either cabin again when visiting family! Fantastic!
