"Nicely appointed home just outside of Ponta Delgada. Clean, and spacious with beautiful gardens. We were 2 couples on our first visit to Sao Miguel and the proximity to the airport and city gave us the perfect "home base" while traveling the beautiful island of Sao Miguel. Would highly recommend for both couples traveling and families."

"From the moment of arrival and till the moment of departure, our stay with António was perfect! The house and the garden are even more beautiful than the pictures show. We were quite overwhelmed by the fantastic flowers in big vases in every room, even in the kitchen. And the fridge was full of good things for our first breakfast - which was very considerate, because we arrived around midnight because of a changed flight schedule. António picked us up at the airport! What a service! Everything...

"The Blue House was a wonderful home away from home. From the many windows are beautiful views of the sea and coastline. The host welcomed us with a bottle of wine, local cheese and bread, and basics like eggs, butter etc… It is best to have a rental car as it is about a 20 min drive to the Ponta Delgada and the airport."

"Beautiful place and location on a one way street, a busy street, parking could be a problem. But we could always find a spot somewhere. The house had everything you would need. We found the top three steps of the stairs difficult for the 2 small children. Small grocery store right across the road, bakery up the road. Short walk to the ocean, fishing harbour, restaurants and shops We experienced 3 festival or celebrations in our week there. We would stay there again"

"A wonderful vacation home. There were 13 of us who stayed in a very spacious house. All the amenities that you could need and more. The pool and hot tub were very nice and well maintained. We rented the large van from the owners and were able to drive around the island easily. Thank you to the hosts for a very nice stay"
