"This cottage is very comfortable and has a great layout. Its located on a quiet street in Seal Harbor where its easy to walk to the beach or park. Michael is a great host and very attentive to any needs that might arise. If you're going to be in town for Acadia, this is a perfect location. We'd definitely come back."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Driftwood Cottage. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to help us enjoy the area during the week. House was extremely clean and well suited for our family of 4. The kids loved the bunkbeds and swing set. The yard was open and we enjoyed the deer that visited each day. Location was great for accessing everything around the island. The owner even put in a window air unit in the master that was very helpful for my wife. Highly recommend this VRBO!"

"Don’t miss on this one!! The other reviews were right on the “mark”!! This place is extremely special and the view in the evening over the bay was magical. It literally felt like a painting. They have the place well decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. Not to mention the Swedish spa next door!! We loved everything about this place and would stay again in a heartbeat."

"Property was nice, clean, easy parking and in a great area. For 6 people it was difficult to all shower and have enough hot water, the upstairs shower didn’t drain well. But overall it was a great property!"

"What a wonderful stay we had! Not only is this home is in a beautiful area, but it is full of charm and warmth. The claw foot tub, a porch swing and Adirondack chairs around a fire pit helped make our stay even more enjoyable. The host was super quick to respond to every inquiry I had."

"This property is convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The kitchen was nice for our group to cook breakfast together. The house had lots of spaces to visit and plenty of seating both at the tables and in the common areas. Upstairs had no electrical outlets and smelled musty but we were able to work around the lack of electrical outlets and always travel with air freshener so it was okay."

"Overall the place was nice. We didn’t get a chance to kayak, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The kitchen was well stocked and we made all our dinners there. The bathroom had some black mold on the ceiling, which was concerning. The directions could also have been more descriptive, we got there after dark and had trouble finding the place."

"I booked this because it had a canoe included. Other bookings in same price range all had issues, but we are a family that paddles. The first thing my son wants to do is go out on the lake (literally still had suit cases in the car). We make the walk back down the drive to the dock and ... no canoe. Send messages about issue ... handled by a 3rd party .... finally get back to us about the canoe on our last day saying there will not be a canoe. Owner told them that they don't put the canoe out...

"Perfect location close to shops, restaurants and the national park. Very clean and easy to access. Located above an amazing restaurant (colonel’s) which we frequented after long days of hiking/ exploring the park. On-site laundry was an added bonus. The kids loved the fresh pastries and the adults loved the coffee from colonel’s before long days at the NP. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thanks! "

"This home was everything we needed and could have asked for. Lots of room we had 10 of us and never felt crowded. The outside views were amazing. We didn't want to leave. Location was off the beaten path but, we loved that was centrally located though to get anywhere you needed. Right off the Beach and Park though which again we loved. "This cute little house was just the right size for my husband and me. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. However, the drawback of that is that it is at least a 30 minute drive to get to anywhere. Bar Harbor is an hour's drive (and we were not in peak season - it is probably longer if we had been). There were a few things to do closer, but you still had to drive as there are no shoulders on the road and consequently walking felt treacherous. This is not a criticism of the property - if...
