"Sparkling clean and very spacious with gorgeous waterfront view. We were in Driftwood. We appreciated the amenities provided, the clear instructions on check in and out as well as the tips provided. There are wonderful breakfast options nearby and while we spent most of our time in Bar Harbor and Acadia, we appreciated being away from a busy downtown. Just note that from the more popular Acadia attractions, this is about a 20 min drive. Road noise wasn't too bad, we used the fans and ran the AC...

"We had an amazing week hiking in Acadia, enjoying Bar Harbor, and on the water. The house is on the outskirts of Bar Harbor and we enjoyed the quiet location. We walked into town a few times but mostly drove since there is no sidewalk and it requires walking on the side of the road, but it was easy to get in and out. The house is dog friendly with a small yard. Overall, this was great and we would stay here again if we return to Bar Harbor!"

"The property is exactly as described; clean, easy check in & out, great choices on the TV, and nicely located. Perfect place for us to relax after a day of exploring Acadia National Park. There are great, delicious choices for Maine lobster meals and homemade blueberry pie. Blueberry Hill ice cream and Pat's Pizza are a must try. The property manager is responsive bot before and during our stay.Plan to stay here again the next time we come to hike."

"I stayed at this rental with my husband and kids, and overall the property is great. It’s an easy drive to all things Acadia but is not overpriced and overcrowded like the Bar Harbor area. There was plenty of room for the four of us. Close to the restaurants and grocery stores in Ellsworth. Beds were comfortable. We did let the host know soon after check-in that a bedroom was missing its smoke detector and the bedroom light wasn’t working, we didn’t hear back about those issues. There is a full...

"This was the perfect location and the host was responsive and helpful. My only complaint is that the bed is terribly uncomfortable and even after tightening the frame it squeaks with the littlest movement. My husband actually went to sleep on the hide-a-bed towards the end of the stay (we went out and purchased a mattress pad to make it more comfortable) because the bed hurt his back so much. "The place was great. Much bigger than expected, right outside of southwest harbor and easy to get all over the island. We would stay here again. "

"We had an awesome stay! Jay is a terrific host who is incredibly thorough and responsive. The condo is a little cozy for two people, but everything about it is top notch! The location is terrific, a short walk from the center of town and tons of bars, restaurants, and the Island Explorer. The condo is equipped with top notch accessories - towels, sheets, the bed, etc. - and an amazing TV?Surround sound system! I highly recommend!"

"We stayed in apartment 16 and found it roomy and comfortable for the 3 of us. Great proximity to Mt Desert Island and lobster! I was concerned about being close to the airstrip, but it wasn't loud. People staying upstairs were courteous, but you definitely wake up whenever they start walking around upstairs. We enjoyed the hotub, fire pit with cute s'mores kits and snacks. So glad to have laundry available after all that hiking and biking!"

"Very clean and pleasant with beautiful pictures and arrangements with care and thought. Very near to the main village center with some good options for meals or coffee/ice cream. Convenient for activities in SouthWest Harbor or for a short drive to Bar Harbor. Hosts were very polite and responsive for any questions and made our stay pleasant & hassle free. "

"It was awesome. Our adult children stayed with us. And it was my first time using a VRBO. We liked being together wish we could have spent more time together but kids have jobs and pets to get back to. Wish the place would have had a pizza pan and pizza cutter Loved having a washer dryer onsite too. Wonderful stay"
