"This Hotel was in a perfect location with amazing views over the sea yet right in town. It was typical of an old seaside establishment, a little tired but clean but was undergoing refurbishment so can’t wait to see the changes. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful but seemed a little overstretched. I would definitely go there again"

"We were a little apprehensive when we saw that there was building work going on as the hotel is being revamped, but we needn’t have worried, the hotel and builders worked closely to ensure there wasn’t an issue with noise etc. The room we had was spotlessly clean, it was a little tired decor wise, but this is obviously being addressed. "Its one of those places, you kinda want to give a bad review so other would stay away and when you come back it is available! But that would be cruel. Well furnished, 2 min walk from multi storey, supermarket, 4 min walk to High Street, 8min to beach, very comfortable and enjoyable family stay. "

"Great little find with absolutely stunning views of the sea and dock. Only negative I would say is the bed is a double, which is fairly small. Having to strip beds, sort towels and throw rubbish shouldn’t be asked if there’s a cleaning charge you pay for. The instructions are also to throw rubbish in the bins by the church, however, went there and was told off by the shop owner there who said we can’t use bins and there is a £400 fine for doing so, had to end up leaving bin bag in the hallway."
