"Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! ) "

"Kastraki is a great place to stay, near Meteora. The room was better than I expected from the photos and we were very pleased with the stay. Some of the staff does not speak much english as some reviews say, but give then a break, you are not in England or USA, with good will and sympathy things work out very well, and the staff was always very nice. "Perfect in every way. The accomodation was in a perfect location, opposite the small road to Troulos beach and with a supermarket and bus stop 20 on its doorstep. It was spotlessly clean, modern and airy with everything you could wish for. The owner, manager and house maid were amazing, so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again. "
