"The view is amazing! The hosts, Anna and Byron, are gracious and thoughtful and helped us with our trip planning. Our room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was really nice. Anna took our breakfast order the night before and had it ready at an agreed time the next morning. Loved all the breakfast options. We stayed two nights. Tip: if you have a large suitcase, consider packing an overnight bag in case you need to carry it up some stairs. "
"The property was near the beach in Homer. The rooms were manufactured housing in a long strip. It was quiet and comfortable. We stayed one night before our trip to Kodiak. It was close to the airport and the harbor. I would recommend and go back."
"We stayed in the Family Cabin and we loved it. It wasn't near the actual Pioneer Inn but not too far. It was in a residential area. The house was lovely. Lots of room for a family. Kitchen and dining area as well as a living room. Would like the tv to be easier to figure out. There needs to be directions somewhere to help us. I would recommend for two couples or a family and we would come back. It was great!"
"Cutest cabin ever! We adored Homer and this was the perfect home base. Very scenic, close to everything, and well appointed. Will def stay here if in Homer again (and hope that’s the case!)"
"My only complaint is that the walls are either very thin, or my neighbors were yelling all night, but our stay was wonderful. The staff was very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. Checkin and checkout were a breeze. Water pressure and temperature was amazing after a rainy day!
Also I had wild bunnies outside my window which is honestly an automatic 5 stars for me. Would stay again for sure!"
"Honestly for the price there’s better options than the aspen. The best western offers nicer rooms and a decent free breakfast. This place just doesn’t have anything to offer and the staff are average at best. Comparing the experience of staying at both hotels it became clear that the best western was the better value and the staff seemed to be happier with their job than the ones at the aspen."
"The cabins have an amazing view of Homer and Kachemak Bay. The hot tub and fire pit are nice outdoor amenities. We've stayed there several times and will do so again next trip."
