"Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't use many of the amenities as we were in town for a birthday party, but it provided a very relaxing base for us and our 3 kids. Very comfortable beds with lovely quality sheets and beautiful views into the countryside. We'd stay again."

"I loved how easy it was to find and close to where I had my meetings. Also the staff was super nice and the room, for a night’s stay was decent and well kept. "

"I've always wanted to stay here but haven’t been able to because its always been full. Having now stayed there, I understand why as this place is excellent. We received a very friendly welcome. The communal areas and room were spotless. The hotel is quiet - it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. Bed comfortable, bedding clean, bathroom spotless. Tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, and kettle in the room. Central heating worked well and the room was cosy. Good pressure from the shower....

"When we booked tge book in time was not vidable to us and we were suprised it was 4pm as this felt a little late. Paul was loveley and made us feel very welcome. The room was large but felt a little dated but for the price was more than acceptable. We stayed 1 night in the family room and my girls enjoyed the stay. I went for Breakfast which was self serve and a basic continental but you also have the facilities to make your own should you desire. Lots of contractors and Builders use this hotel...

"Funny little place. Rooms upstairs in a pub but dont let that put you off as pub is only open 3-8pm. Kitchen wasnt doing breakfast which would have been handy to know before i turned up. Very convenient for the city, with free off street parking which is a rarity in york. Room was clean and comfy. Wpuld stay again for the price. "

"It was such a great stay with the Ladies over at the Embassy, the Owner/Management I believe was super nice and staff were impeccable 👌 . Rooms Clean i would highly recommend. Food and drinks excellent. We made it after check-in just a phone call and we were able to be into our room . Thank you for such great accommodation. "

"I stayed for one night at The Cordelia as a solo traveller, and chose this hotel as it was conveniently located and looked great in the photos. I was not disappointed! From the moment I arrived, Rebecca was most welcoming. I was given a dis for the car parking on the road and was shown to my room which was warm and cosy with lovely decoration and a homely touch. "The apartment was okay for a couple of nights, useful kitchen facilities and a powerful hot shower. Free coffee and croissants was good (although nothing to put on the croissants?). However, the bathroom STANK of old cigarette smoke which we were worried about sticking to our clothes. Also more than one chair for a double room would be good! "

Conforto e otimo café da manhã

"York é uma cidade linda, otima pra uma parada de 1 dia, o hotel fica a 10minutos caminhando da Estação de trem e a uns 10 minutos das atrações, ruas comerciais, etc. O quarto é grande, confortável e com algumas amenidades. Café da manhã incluso excelente e funcionários muito gentis. Foi ótima a estadia!"

"O hotel em si é bem precário. O ar condicionado dos quartos e corredores dos quartos nao gela. A estrutura do quarto era precária, sendo que reservei o melhor quarto do hotel. Metade das tomadas nao funcionava,tive que usar extensor de tomadas, ar condicionado como ja mencionei- nao gela, tive q pedir 2 ventiladores para conseguir dormir, ha limitadores de pressao e vazao de agua nos banheiros - privada e bidê. E para piorar ainda cobram aluguel de guarda-chuvas, quando deveriam oferecer gratuitamente para uso dos hospedes. "
