"We really enjoyed the property. There are short hikes around the property, that you can link up to longer hikes if you choose. About 20 minutes from Nelson. There are a few cabins on the property, but very private and not all too close to each other. It was very quiet and easy to get to more urban areas if you choose. "It was perfect for staying close to Selkirk College as I was in town to visit my son with his Granny. Nice to have two bedrooms. The downside was that we brought e-bikes and were not allowed to store them inside the garage due to the owner's dog occupying it. Expensive bikes stayed out in the rain overnight with electronics getting wet. The owner was on site but never greeted us or offered a solution to the bike storage. No cable TV. "This is one of the very nicest places I have stayed! The location offers safety and privacy - downtown and walkable to businesses, but not on the busy street. The property was very clean with attention to detail - the kitchen was especially well provisioned. The owner was quick to reply via messaging to questions that I had. "A unique vintage residence to stay at near Nelson BC. Spacious - we liked that bedrooms were on the corners of the house to give some privacy. 2.5 bathrooms were handy as well. Dining was great for meals and games. Backyard was very pleasant and had plenty of sunshine and shade options. Hosts were very responsive!!"

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is a lovely walk downhill to downtown. The hot tub in the garden was a real treat to relax in after a long drive. At the apartment we had ample space and everything we needed was there including laundry facilities. I would happily stay here again if we are ever in the area. "My coworkers stayed here for a few nights while in town for business. There was some noise on the first night that was resolved by contacting the host. My coworkers appreciated the easy waterfront access and being able to go for a swim each morning and evening. The deck with BBQ and spacious living area were great.
