We were down on the beach when a 4 point buck decided to walk past us and take up shelter under the deck and provide selfie opportunities. We hiked the peninsula, had a bonfire on the beach and boated on the lake. Treat yourself to this spectacular opportunity!"

"We rented this property for our family to stay in while we attended a wedding. It is as described and a lovely home. The only thing that wasn't as clean as it should have been was the master shower. There were hairs on the floor and walls, which were not very inviting. We did have to kill a large spider in the stairway to the loft where our children stayed. Other than those things, we enjoyed our stay very much until the last day. I had received an email/text stating that we could stay an...

"Cozy log cabin with back porch for BBQing if you so choose. Automatic fireplace warmed up cabin nicely. Close to marina and boat launch. Kitchen well stocked with ample pots and pans, utensils, glass ware. Both Keurig and regular coffee maker. Didn’t realize had access to garage until last day as garage key not in noticeable location. Wi-if did not work. Insufficient hot water for multiple showers, had to wait for hot water to recover."

"This is our third time at the McCall Cottage. It is always clean and comfortable with great supplies and amenities. We enjoyed our time on the deck watching the deer. Only thing we saw that needs attention was the bar stools are starting to get wobbly and needs some tightening. We will be back."

"Beckoning woods and peaceful environment, we absorbed the beauty McCall offers while staying in this delightful cottage. We hope to return and enjoy this cozy, mountain escape again. "Property was great. When we arrived the room had not been cleaned. We had to dry the sheets and make the beds. We were almost out of toilet paper. There was no paper towels. There were dirty dishes on the counter. It took 3 phone calls to finally get some where there to finish what we had not done and to bring supplies. Very unhappy with the experience. Really bad way to start our vacation."

"The view was wonderful. In the fall keep in mind that the lake will be lower, but the view is still good. Had to leave early because my feet/legs swelled up so bad - that is not about the property itself, it was the elevation of the property. Made a couple suggestions to the management team and they were very open to them. They were great throughout the whole process. Go and enjoy!"

"Nice home lots of beds . It was hot so the air conditioning would not keep up. They need to update air conditioning on main level. It gets hot in the house when cooking , and with large family there was a lot of cooking. Very nice stay."
