"We stayed 1 night. Our studio--sitting room, large bathroom, and bedroom--was very spacious with many amenities: coffee/water/materials for eating in. Well appointed--comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding, great bathroom--comfortable couch and small table for eating. Excellent value. More than 1 venue for food--different styles. We only sampled breakfast--the granola parfait was perfect. "

"Daisy Lodge was just perfect. It truely felt like a home from home and had everything you would possibly need. It was lovely and clean and Helen the owner gave us lots of information for things to do and see. I honestly could not fault it and would highly recommend. "

"The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area. Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area. A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property."

"When we arrived our original accommodation was no longer available due to essential work going on. Hotel upgraded us to a de luxe room with lake view, and gave us 7 days of full English breakfasts, all at no extra charge. Excellent staff! Friendly and approachable. "Owners of Cottage provided a phone number to call one week before our arrival. Numerous attempts each day and "no one" answered the phone. And there wasn't any way to leave a message. On our way to the unit, we had an emergency, one member, in the emergency room for 3 hours. I tried getting hold of the unit, no response so I called VRBO. We had to cancelled because I could not speak with the owner about our situation and their accommodations. Request complete refund."

"We loved our stay at the lodge. It was very well equipped and the location is beautiful. The hosts were super helpful with their communications. The lodge itself is a little tired looking but this didn't bother us. It was clean & tidy though. The location is very calm & peaceful but no amenities within easy walking distance. Again, this didn't bother us as we enjoyed the peace & quiet. "

"I had a great stay,I booked the unit a day before my arrival and once booked I received all the check in info immediately, no key was needed all acess is through a keypad system which is nice.The unit was very spacious and cozy,I really liked the kitchen set-up,Carlisle is a wonderful city and fun to explore and the apartment was only a 5 minute walk to the train station."

"Spent a week there with family and dogs. Very clean and everything you could need The views are beautiful. One thing to note, if you take a dog make sure you have long leads and a torch, as nowhere enclosed to let them off before bed or first thing. Both bathrooms are en-suite as well as opening to the corridor which was a peek we didn’t expect. The perfect place for a relaxing family trip and highly recommend. "

"Absolutely loved our stay here, the secret door was the topper to a wonderful placw to stay. Yes it wasnt the warmest before the heaters kicked jn but there were.cosy blankets, additional heaters and a the warmest duvet ive ever slept under! Loved the great hall and the pool table. "

"Stayed here for two nights. And it met all my needs. Bed was super comfy and the room was cleaned to a high standard. There's only three things that would have made it better. 1) The shower didn't produce and hot water. 2) The Hairdryer didn't work. 3) The club music from other venues could be heard so clearly on a Saturday night until 2am, but I understant that can't be changed and didn't entierly put me off. "
