Bursting with colorful ocean hues, this adorable room offers two queen beds dressed in fine, blue-tone quilts with floral patterns, and a cute area rug to match. Chat sleep-over style while soft music plays on Spotify via WiFi, or watch some of your favorite shows on the cable TV while munching on snacks. You can enjoy eating all your meals out, although you may want to stash some wine and leftovers in the mini-fridge (and you'll also have a microwave)! Dogs are also welcome to join you.

Whether you're here to hike, stroll the beach, enjoy the cute shops, or just to relax, there's nothing quite like this sweet room in the Ocean Cove Inn.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). It was…ok until the last day
It’s a perfectly serviceable room- clean, spacious, high ceilings. One chair for a room that can fit 4 was kind of odd. Wednesday night, a loud beeping would periodically come from the room next to mine. It woke me up a couple of times but no biggie. I woke up really under the weather on Thursday and wanted to spend the day in the room.The beeping started and went on from 9-11:30 am. I lodged a case and figured it would be taken care of. I didnt get notification that it had been fixed, and then the beeping started again around 5pm. At that point I texted the contact number again but didn’t feel confident that anything would be done at that point in the evening. I ended up booking another hotel room so I would be able to sleep soundly. Overall the room was fine but that beeping almost drove me mad.

Great location!
Not the cleanest place I've stayed but the location was perfect. Just around the corner from beach access and across the street from three great restaurants. I would stay here again.

It was all ok
Cable went out at 8pm could not find towels a few cobwebs on the ceiling. Other then that everything was great. Nice location. Wanted to check in early,and checkout late but that was a no go.

Don’t rely on EV chargers!!!!
Good location for walking to town, noisy highway though. Simple, clean enough, dog friendly… DOWNSIDE: on our third night management shut off the Tesla charger we were plugged into and left a nasty note saying non guests using chargers were guilty of theft!!! I did not have enough charge to get to a super charger and had to limp to another town for a slow charge and wait all day! They never Asked our make, model or license # so I don’t k ow how they would have known if our car belonged to guests or not, but we were parked and charging for two prior nights, with plenty of coming and going from the hotel during the day. There was no staff available to ask about the situation either. DO NOT STAY!!!!

Wonderful Motel Room
This was a very open, clean, and cozy room in a quaint motel. The location was perfect! It's within walking distance of all of the shops and two ways to the beach. Communication with staff was easy. Enjoy your stay in Yachats.

Definitely shabby, but great value and location
The place is worn down, but you get what you pay for. The floors were not very clean (our socks were dirty within minutes), there were a few cobwebs, lots of dust, and the hair dryer was bizarrely greasy and covered with dog hair, BUT the most important things were clean: bathroom, microwave, fridge, and sheets (stained/holey, but clean). Also they provided lots of coffee (K-cups), creamer, sugar, and mugs. Location is great, easy walking to SO many shops and restaurants. It's basically right where the sidewalk ends - in the past we've stayed just a bit further south and without a sidewalk, it felt unsafe walking from there. The beach is close but you have to walk/drive a bit to access it. Views are very nice. It's an end unit that only shares one wall with another room - no one above, below, behind. So it was very quiet and road noise was minimal. Possibly the quietest hotel/motel room I've ever been in. My two major complaints: -it was COLD. No matter what we set the thermostat to, it was VERY chilly. No air/warmth came out of the wall units and the unit near the ceiling blew cool air. We were there the first few days of April and temps got down to the mid-30s overnight and we slept in our coats. I couldn't find an office/manager on site to contact, or a local # to call, so I emailed VRBO (since it was late.) I never got a response, but the second day was warmer - not sure if VRBO got it fixed or it was because it was warmer outside. It was not as cold as that first night after that, but still colder inside than outside, and we still slept in sweatshirts. If the room wasn't so cheap I'd be more upset about this, but we survived. - second, BUGS. A few spiders, which is to be expected in Oregon, but also DOZENS of pillbugs. At first I left them alone but they wound up on the beds so I started killing them; I killed at least 20 and counted at least 10 more when I was packing up to check out. Not the grossest of bugs, but it was still really weird. Overall, I'm not sure I'd stay here again during colder weather, but the location was really nice, so I'd consider it in warmer months. While I like the ease of booking and contactless check-in/check-out through VRBO, it stinks not having someone on site to handle unexpected issues.

Great view
We have stayed here several times over the years. We have always enjoyed our stay. The view is nice. Needs updating but has always clean. This time we were in a different room closer to the road. It was pretty noisy. There were cobwebs in corners and did not feel clean overall. Will have to think twice about coming back.

This property is basically a motel room. It is not set up for cooking beyond making coffee or for eating. I did enjoy the view of the ocean from the window of the room.

The cost listed and actual cost of one night stay, was daunting & misleading/expensive. Had I known it’d be double the price, I’d probably go elsewhere. It was a comfy stay, quiet. Just what we needed after a long day of (beautiful) driving

Big...Bright...Comfy Beds
Our overall impression of the property was very good. Beds were comfortable. Room was nice and big and bright. The only issue we had was that the flowers growing out front need to be addressed because they are covering the walkway to the rooms and make it hard to get suitcases thru. The add also said that laundry services were available and that was not the case. Overall I would stay again.

Beautiful room, cute town and beach
Initially walking into the room, the high ceilings and windows gave the space a very roomy and lively personality. The town was quiet and the people there were friendly. The beach was not as close to the room as the pictures led us to believe, but a quarter mile walk was not bad and the beach was very nice. Overall a good choice to stop and stay there.

great value!
nice place for the money, across from one of the world's best fish places; luna sea. this place is in downtown yachats & if you stand by the window, you can see the ocean. no one bothered us & we had plenty of privacy. we live in the country, so road noise was an issue, but if you are used to it, yachats is a quiet town, pretty much. the room is across the road from a nice park where we watched grey whales with their babies playing about 50 feet from where we were parked. the coffee shop next block over is awesome & has brutally wicked tarts in many yummy flavors...his was such a lovely trip! great place to stay on a budget.

Lovely cozy room, close to downtown.
Our first Vacasa experience. I would definitely recommend this property to others. The room was clean, bright, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The non-standard layout of the two queen beds and the higher ceiling area and lighting, made it feel larger and airier than a motel room. There is no couch in the room, but comfortable seating and a nice table. The ocean view was there, but a bit hidden and obscured by buildings across the street. Loved the whimsy of the spouting whale in the little park area out front. Within easy walking distance of great food, the beach, shops and groceries. The only thing we lacked was spoons -- we had purchased yogurt, crackers and wine to have in the room and realized we had nothing to eat the yogurt with. There were wine glasses and an opener provided as well as coffee cups, we just weren't thinking! (A reminder to others.) We would come back.

Vacation just the way I like it!
Twice I have driven from Utah to stay for a week at the Ocean Cove Inn. You can access your room without trouble and without help even if you arrive very late. Supplies are adequate for the entire week, and no one bothers you unless you request it. The beds are comfortable and the room is cheerful and charming. The small village atmosphere is just right. The natural surroundings are magnificent.

A Charming Seaside Room in Yachats
I concur with many of the other reviews. This is a cozy, nicely furnished and quiet place to stay. It's an old motel, but tastefully updated and very clean. The beds are so comfortable you won't want to get up in the morning. You do have to cross the highway, but it's a quick walk to the beachfront. It was foggy and chilly most of the time we were there, but the last day was beautiful. There are several restaurants nearby and also a grocery store if you don't feel like restaurant food. Try the Luna Sea restaurant if you want some good clam strips or chowder. The only downside besides the weather was it was difficult to navigate the traffic and parking. This isn't a fault of the venue. It's a tiny town trying to accommodate tons of tourists. There are so many walkable places that this wouldn't regularly be a problem, but my mother cannot walk without a walker, so driving was more of a necessity. The lower level rooms have no stairs, so this was very convenient for her. We would definitely stay again. We had quite a relaxing stay.
