"Scott’s place was the perfect anchor for us to explore so much of Nova Scotia. We are all from California and there was so much to see and appreciate. The country was amazing, And Scott was the best host possible. We asked him about firewood, and he showed up that day and chopped some more for us. "Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "

"The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. "

"Beautiful property on a wonderful, peaceful lake. We swam, sat out on the deck for meals, saw the Milky Way lying out on the dock while loons called. Very clean and well stocked. Many great trails nearby. Convenient to airport and Halifax. Highly recommend!"
